I have a serious problem with Club Mahindra.

In 2007 my father had taken out 2 Memberships 550130 & 550120 on EMI basis for me and my sister on the occasion of our weddings. However due to financial constraints my father was only able to make the downpayment + 16 EMIs for both our memberships. We were told that we would not be able to get a refund as the entire monies were not paid and refund was only available on full payment.

Afterwards the collection executives started getting in touch with us to clear the ourstanding amount. We agreed to do so but had come queries which we needed clarified. We also wanted to downgrade to White Studio as we could not make the financial committments of White 1 BR. However the executive kept telling us about Red Studio which was not agreeable by us as the days for holidays were very few and not at times we could take the holidays. We even asked for a meeting with their executive and got no reply. All this correspondance was by email and the last email from us was 29-Apr-2011. There was no reply from them after that for the next 4 months and they now claim not to have received any futher emails.

However when another executive got in touch with my sister regarding her membership she was informed that my membership was inactive and hence could not be revived or refund taken. She has decided to go ahead with the option of reviving her membership which was in the same position as mine. What I want to know is how could 1 membership in the same position be considered active while the other membership be cancelled without even a phonecall or email to let me know the same. It seems on enquiry the phone numbers called (supposidly by them) were not reachable which is a lie as I have had my number for the last 10 years and even received calls from another department asking me to take a new membership (total rubbish) Even emails were not sent to inform me about the cancellation. I have tried to call the numbers but they keep ringing and no one answer.

This is all a big fraud on the part of mahindra holidays to seperate a person from thier hard earned monies. Even when a person is ready to pay they are refusing to do so and not giving a valid reason why 1 membership is cancelled while the other one is not. This is my point of major grievence

I wish someone could call me back as I have sent numerous emails but not one of them has a telephone number so that I can talk to the person or even set up a meeting.
