Dear Sir,

This is regarding MMT Booking Id NN251751531865 (PNR: U83MYZ) flight refund of Rs. 25,483 booked on Feb 02, 2011.

I contacted them for refund and I was told that I should contact the Airline for refund.

I contacted and explained my case to Air Asia and they gladly refunded 4430000.00 Indonesian Rupees on 14 Feb 2011.

This is their reply on my refund

"Regarding the refund of your booking number U83MYZ, please be informed that our finance alrady top up back to AG amount 4430000.00 IDR on 14 Feb 2011.

After providing complete details, still MakeMyTrip is not refunding the amount. This is an example of sheer twisting the rules on their terms when despite all the efforts done from my side to get the above information, their support team is so insensitive and incompetent that now they want me to run to the airlines office and get a written letter for the same with seal. Can't they simply check their records and confirm the same.

I have already emailed to customer care on 22-Aug, 26-Sept, 29-Sept, despite calling several dozen of times, but they are simply not interested in the refund. I have already emailed to triphelp@makemytrip.com, so don't send me a canned reply to send the email to that Id.


So, since MMT has my refund amount, request them to please credit it back to my credit card through which it was booked.

Plz guide me how to escalate this case to DGCA and Consumer Court in case they do not reply and upto what extent damages can be claimed from this company for holding back my refund amount illegally.
