    Default Reliance CDMA : Wrongly Billed for unused Service : Netconnect

    Dear Sir,

    I would like to bring to your notice that I started getting charged for Netconnect Service for the number 9324466686 from 11 August 2011 till date, the service which I have never used nor using it.

    The charge of Rs. 361 was billed to me for the period of 11 Aug 2011 to 10 Sep 2011. Currently also the unbilled usage is of Rs. 823(wow now while writing this complaint it has increased to Rs. 937.3) wherein I have made hardly any calls to cross even an amount of Rs. 50/-. I suspect a misuse of the service of Netconnect on my number by someone else. I have also contacted the customer care at *222 on which they said they would be escalating the matter as they are not able to identify the issue.

    I want this to be stopped as soon as possible and the wrongly billed amount be repaid back to me.

    I am a DAPO customer and using the services of Reliance from almost 8 yrs and such a negligence from Reliance is intolerable.

    If the matter is not solved I would be forced to withdraw from the services and wont pay any future bills.

    Dear Customer Care,

    I had enough of explaining done to all the executives but I didn't get any satisfactory response from any. Now I received a call from the Floor Executive of Billing Department explaining me that the refund can't be done for the Netconnect Usage as it is presumed by them(rather everyone in reliance) that I have used the services.

    I demanded a complete list of data usage with the details of the handset/hardware number from which the internet has been used for which I got a reply that they cant provide me with such elaborate details. When being a customer I am ready to submit my handset for investigation but you'll don't want to accept even this. Then WHY DO I PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT I HAVE NOT USED?????

    If Reliance cannot believe its customers then how do you'll expect a customer to believe onto what you'll have charged us. I fail to accept the response from the customer care for my Service Request No : 162647868 registered on September 27, 2011 which is closed today after 10 days.

    I am firm on my decision as I have caught this fraud red handed by switching off my mobile to only see the amount for my unbilled usage getting increased from Rs. 823 to Rs. 1198.55 in just few hours. During this period I had even called up the customer care twice to let you'll know that someone is misusing the service on my number but no one cared to even block the service.

    I being a loyal customer from past 9 years is treated in this fashion then god knows how you'll will treat the new ones.

    I announce to withdraw from the services of reliance(formally will do that tomorrow at the webworld) and I hereby notify you that I am not paying any further bills.

    Thanks for all the mental harassment that you'll have given me in past 15-20 days.
