I had recharged with Rs 149 erecharge ( 2gb - 30 days validity ) plan
of airtel on 22 Sep 2011 at around 10:30 pm, Transaction Id 772391144.

I realized that my main balance was deducted with Rs 98 today 25th sep
2011. I called up 198 – to give a complaint regarding missing balance
and was told that it was deducted for gprs service.

I informed them that I had recharged my gprs service on 22 September
2011 and gave the transaction id, was put on hold and the call was
disconnected, called on at least four occasions and spoke to many
people who are ill trained even to take up a complaint and give me a
complaint number.

One Mr Vishwajeet told me that I am lying and that I am on 98 plan, I
fail to understand how Airtel can be so callous and have such ill
trained people manning the complaint dept. I requested him to take up
my complaint and give me a complaint number to which he declined.

I was told that i was being put on to senior personnel and was put on
hold and finally disconnected.

I fail to understand the follwoing...

When I am on the 149 GPRS pack how can Airtel deduct me for Rs 98.

When I have a complaint then it is just right that the department takes
down my complaint and issue me a complaint number, investigate and do
the needful, not just say that I am lying and I have activated the Rs
98 pack, that too when lucklily I had the erecharge sms and I am
quoting the transaction id.

How is it possible for the system at Airtel to allow these kind of
deductions.

I was deducted Rs 100 in the month of May / June too, that time I was told that I had downloaded some java game. In short I feel that there is some problem with Airtel system and Airtel fails to resolve this issue.
