I had booked a return ticket from Cleartrip.com travel portal and while booking, a message appreared on the screen saying that the booking could not be confirmed and "I am not charged for the transaction". However, my bank account was debited immediately. On checking with the customer care executive, he told me that due to technical reasons, i did not get a confirmation but the BOOKING IS CONFIRMED. I received my ticket in my e-mail in one hours time.

I flew one way but called up the ClearTrip customer care to cancel my return leg ticket. Since it was too late, i had to call up Kingfisher airlines directly to cancel. The airline promptly cancelled my ticket on the phone and asked me to contact Cleartrip for a refund of the ticket. When i called up ClearTrip's customer care, they told me that the booking cannot be found but they will locate it and generate a refund but it will take 15-20 working days.

Today, its been 5 months and i still have not received any refund amount.

I wanted to attach the e-ticket and a screenshot of my online bank account for your reference but due to file limit restrictions, I am unable to do so. I also have all the e-mails exchanges between Cleartrip customer care and me for proof.

I have also posted reviews of Cleartrip on Mouthshut.com. Someone from Cleartrip promptly replied that my refund is neing processed on an urgent basis. Its been 3 months now and there is no refund till now. They make false promises but never deliver. Kindly help.
