    Angry Reliance Broad band connection Complaint - Chennai

    Hi,

    This is Udaya Chandran

    Reliance broadband billing and service is pathetic.
    My customer id is 394894820620. On 05/08/2011 i have given a request for cancellation of my BB 300kbps plan as the service is too bad. but these people continuously called me to opt for another plan which is 500 kbps. initially i told them, i dont need the service and terminate the account. But a lady called me several time and asked me to change the plan and the service will be good. She even told me that the bill would be around 600 rs every month. I said ok after a long conversation. Some 5 days back my connection got cut and gave a complaint to the customer care that the net is not working. And till now no one came to rectify.

    Today to my surprise, i received the bill of rs 1,210.16 for a 500kbps plan. There is no dues so far as i have been a paying promptly every month. on 28/08/2011 i have paid Rs 580 and within 15 days they have sent a bill asking me to pay 1,210.16. I have asked the customer care and they say its an advance rental plan. i never new it was an advance rental plan and i told them why dont u say everything to the customer before itself. and i even spoke to a manager named manoj, he is just blaming me that i have not heard it properly and the customer care rep would have informed me abt it while opting for the plan nearly 1 month back. It is disgusting and that these guys are playing a prank on me. I have told them that i will not pay any advance amount and will wait for my termination. The termination request number is 161987412.

    I dont have an internet connection now and even i been cheated with the billing and plan. Why would anybody just simply say to take a diffent plan without even saying properly what the plan is meant for. This is not my problem and hence will not pay the bill. If they require me to pay the bill then they should only send me a bill for which i have used till this 15th sep 2011 as i was not using their service after 15th as it is not working. I dont want anybodies money and i dont want any one to simply cheat on me. Why should anybody being a postpaid BB would opt for an advance payment plan (which can be termed as prepaid). Customers should be given right to information of the plan which Reliance come up with. Need them to terminate my BB account immediately and they need send a apology letter for blaming me without giving a proper information. They need to again send me the actual cost for which i used till sep 15th.

    U need to know that i have already request for termination 161987412. And no one ever contacted me. The net is not working from 15 sep. I request you to send only the bill amount till 15th if you need me to pay. I dont want any local agents to call me and ask for payments every day without knowing my problem. No one called me from termination dept too. I need a clear bill stating with clear bill amount which i have used and also i need a receipt of termination of service. After that i will pay the Bill (note: only for the use till 15th sep). Hope we are on the same page. Thanks

    Ur somebody have called me on Saturday and gave a different termination number but i was driving and did not note it and again they said somebody will call after 2 days for termination.. What happen with the Termination request 161987412 (Which i gave on 17th). See the net is not working from 15th and i have already given termination request. I need things to be on immediate effect. And again Bill has to be charged only for the days it was used that means till sep 15th which will not be more than 600 bucks.. And you have charged me excess and now your agents are calling me to pay the bill of 1210 and they are also saying that i need to pay with late fee.. I dont understand... is this the way u people will act.. The agent priya from chennai called today from 04432217910 has to know what is my problem before asking for paying the bill every time. I am the most irritated person bec of your service.. I just need proper bill and the termination has to be effective.. This is my last msg here... I will not tolerate anymore and will take necessary action soon.

    You guys are just irritating me to the core. I want the termination as QUICKLY as possible. Even if you dont terminate, i would think as if you the connection is terminated from 15th of sep.


    Somebody called Barath spoke to me on last Wednesday 05/OCT 2011 and said that he will wave off the Rs 1200 odd bill (which is not a correct bill), and said he will put a conference call with reliance revenue dept guys. And asked me to say to the revenue guys that the connection is working fine and the issue on the bill is solved. I told him frankly i cant LIE and dont force me to LIE. this is a very stupid act by the person and should be warned. Again i said repeatedly i cannot LIE and he started threatening me by saying the Revenue dept will take its action and they will come home and also do something. Is this the way you would respond to a person who complains abt reliance. Barath gave his personal number too - 9171710073. I never tried this number so far.

    If you guys again call me. Just do what i ask. I dont need to abide for your stupid actions. If you need me to pay then please provide only the bill till i used sep 15th 2011. Hey you need to know something before doing another mishaps that i dont have any pending dues so far. Even august 2011 payment is done for you guys and i have all necessary documents. So i need the termination letter from you and the correct bill for me to pay and also you should provide an apology letter from the head of your reliance. I will not leave it until i get satisfied reliance.. You have made headaches to me ... And will never leave it like that.. All reliance customers please view it and comment if necessary. Thats all..

    Update...

    Today Again This lady Priya called me and when i asked her what it is she asked me to pay the bill. And when i said, i will not pay the bill without prior bill for the usage till 15th, she said simply to pay the bill detecting the amount...

    Again i asked her on what basis you want me to pay... she could not reply and simply said u have to pay the whole thing.

    And WHEN I SAID I ALREADY COMPLAINED IN CONSUMER COURT. SHE SAID "ITS JUST A WASTE OF UR TIME" AND NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN. is this true?. or let me know where to register my compliant for real. I dont want these guys again to call me to pay without giving proper bill and termination of service from 15th. Thats all..I will not again update and waste my time if this is a forum without proper action against the company of improper billing and services.

    Priya called from this number - 44-32217910. I even tried calling this number and she is the one picking it..
    Most of all i trying calling her is to say not to cut the call in-between. She said that i am not going to pay and so i cut the call and what is the use of speaking to me. Good customer service.

    Way to go reliance.. Nice attitude..

    Hi Rcom,

    Somebody from your end called me yesterday when i was travelling and mentioned that they were in touch for this complaint and told that i dont need to pay anything and also they have terminated the connection and they also mentioned their wont be any bills coming to me in future.

    But i got a call today and looks like they are from reliance agency and again asked me to pay the amount.. I cant just keep describing to people every now and then. Its more than a month for you to deactivate a connection and on top of it you will again ask me to pay the whole amount for with i have not used. No body is clear and no one sends a email or document stating that the connection is terminated and the bill is waved off. I need to document it as i get calls from agents. please send email or by post immediately. you can find the email id in your billing department or use this customer id: 394894820620. Please just do the needful instead of beating around the bush. I dont want ANY AGENTS TO CALL ME FOR PAYMENTS. I NEED ONLY THOSE RCOM RESP TO CALL ME WHO HAS ALL THE DETAILS OF MINE.

    In-between, 3 - 4days back the installation guy from reliance took all the modem and wire's. And he mentioned the cable to my whole area is damaged by sep 15th and many persons has connection problem... Then how come you guys bill a person without net connection. unbelievable. Now as you said you tried calling me and could not get through my line. My phone is on always and its better to reach me by 5.00 PM onwards. Thanks
