Greetings for the day !!!


I, Gaurav Kandhari, was working with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd (Syndicate Bancassurance Channel) as a Asst. Sales Manager from October 2004 till June 2007.


Would like to gain your attention that even after making several requests to EPF officlas PUNE and also to my previous employer Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd, I have not received my Provident Fund amount till date.


Sir, appended below is the detail Information, stating the entire case of my Outstanding PF amount still unpaid.





Sir, on 27th March 2010, I received a Cheque bearing Cheque No. 814130 amounting Rs.54,249 credited to my ICICI Bank Saving Account No. 000701592485 , which got dishonoured.
The Cheque was sent by EMPLOYEE PROVIDENT OFFICE Pune as the amount of my provident fund disbursement, while I was working with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.Ltd.

Going further I came to know that the Cheque sent by EPF office got dishonoured because it was not signed by the authorised signatory and was sent to ICICI Bank to credit into my Account.
Since then I have been following up with the officials of Employee Provident Fund Office and also with the authorities of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.Ltd.

After making several attempts and requests to EPF office and at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Head Office Pune, the concerned person Mr.Viraj Khabiya, from the HR department of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.Ltd. suggested me that I should courier the Copy of my Bank Statement, copy of cancelled cheque and other documents to the Head Office of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.and also to the commissioner of Employee Provident Fund Office.

Sir, On 27th December 2010, I had sent the first set of documents to Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.and also to Employee provident Fund Office, Pune.

Later on when contacted it was intimated to me by Mr.Viraj Khabiya and other Hr officials, from Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. that they have not received any courier.

I, have then resend the documents in the month of January 2011, and this time it was confirmed by Mr.VIRAJ KHABIYA that they have received all the documents related to my Provident Fund amount getting dishonoured and after attestation of all the documents it was submitted to the Commissioner , EPF office PUNE, on 4th February by Mr.VIRAJ KHABIYA from Bajaj Allaianz (HR Deptt.)

Sir, its almost more than a year I have been following with these Govt.officials of EPF Pune and with my employer BAJAJ Allianz Life Insurance Co.to disburse the amount of my Provident Fund held within the clutches of Employee Provident Fund Office Pune.

I regret to say but just because of the negligence and irresponsible attitude of the EPF Officialsand Bajaj Allianz Life Inusrance, I have been suffering alot and from 1 year have been following to the EPF officials and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.Ltd. to release the payment of my Provident Fund amount.


Even after completing all the formalities and documents when and wherever required by the concerned person either from Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. Ltd. or by the Employee Provident Fund officials how much time does it require to sign a cheque by the officials of EPF. Its a year i have been following up to obtain the amount of provident fund kept with EPF from last 4 years


I feel no joy in pointing out the delay in the services extended by the Employee Provident Fund Office, and also the by Mr. Viraj Khabiya to provide me a relevant answer regarding the disbursement of my Provident fund amount.

Sir, my continuous follow with the Bajaj Allaianz Life Insurance company and with EPF office has not brought me back my outstanding PF amount.

It was then, I got a reply from Mr. Viraj Khabiya, when I marked the request to the HR Head of Bajaj allianz, AVP of bajaj Allianz (Bnacassurance Channel) and other dignitaries regarding the delay in my PF amount.

I got a reply from Mr. Khabiya, hrough mail, which is appended below:-

Sir, I reverted to Mr. Khabiya through the mail drafted by me statiing that :-



Sir, I sincerely thank you for reverting to my mail, but would like to remind you that it was advised to me, by you long time back to follow up the EPF officials of PUNE office.


Since, then I have adhered to your instructions as a religion without any fail.


Would like to inform you, that the Officials of EPF Pune, had instructed me again to contact my esteem EMPLOYER (Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.).

As per, EPF officials, PUNE, the intervention of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. is required for the release of my outstanding PF amount.

Sir, I have been following the instructions of both the organisations regularly and now I request you to kindly send me the scanned copy of the Receipt of the documents (Request for Reissue of cheque ) which had been sent by BAJAJ ALLIANZ LIFE INSURANCE Co. as stated by you in the mail appended below.

I appreciate the support extended by the authorities of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co. and making me understand that the officials of my Employer (Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.) has refused to take the accountability and ownership for the cheque amounting Rs.54,249, which further got bounced.

My PF money which is upheld with the EPF office, PUNE, is the hard earned money, which my employer had been deducting, while I was serving the organisation and I regret to state, that the officials of Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co.taking care of PF of the employees had declined to take the ownership.

While working with Bajaj Allianz, my employer, itself was deducting the EPF amount from my salary, instead of EPF officials PUNE, coming directly to me and asking for the money.

My question is, If the employer is liable to deduct the EPF amount from the salary of the employee, then why it is not liable to release the payment from the EPF Officials.???

I again, remind you to send me the scanned copy of the Receipt of the documents (Request for Reissue of cheque ) as stated in the mail appended below drafted by you.

The amount of Rs. 54,249/= may be a small amount for the officials of Bajaj Allianz life Insurance Co. and also for the EPF officials, but Sir... I am not that rich, to forget it and let it go away.

Would appreciate of you do the needful AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

Sir, I would also like to request the officials to recalculate the amount of my Provident Fund, because the time the unsigned cheque was credited to my account which further got dishonoured on 27th March 2010 was having amount,Rs.54249
Hence as its almost and year now I have not got my cheque , I am entitled and authorised get the disbursement of my provident Fund with the interest amount recalculated and worked out.

Would appreciate if you could take action of immediate effect.
