this bank is fooling people.
i took the credit card facility of this bank and after that i started receiving call from the customer care about Ergo policy. the policy sounds good as they didn't provide me appropriate and full details. they provided only the details that can lure a person.
the person contacted me for this is named as Ashwin, ph no : 04466853401, an HDFC Employee or agent , i dont know .
he just conformed everything over the phone and told me that , if i need any help or if have any problem or if i want to cancel the policy , i can call him on that number.
i called more that 50 times on that number to cancel the policy , and nobody picked that phone. i called customer care , they just gave me some request number and told me to wait for a week.

i called to the insurance company in the 2nd last week of august . they told me that the policy is cancelled. when i contacted hdfc , they told me that they dont know that the policy is cancelled .
how it is possible that i can get the information , but they didnt have the cancellation information.
i called today 17/09/11 to the HDFC , still that policy is active . they have deducted more than Rs1000 from my credit card.
every time they told that this will be refunded soon . but its more than 50 days , and still the policy is active and i didn,t get any refund from them.
i cant reveal my credit card info here , but i think they can trace my account through the request number noted above.
so i need answer from them here, not over my phone . otherwise sooner i am going to file a case against Mr. Ashwin and HDFC bank.
