    Default Regarding cancellation of hdfc ergo health insurance policy and to stop monthly charg

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    My name is Umashankar K. I am from Chennai, Tamil nadu. I have a credit card from HDFC bank.

    Card Number: 4346 7810 1286 5432

    In July 2011, a customer service personal called my mobile number and told me about health insurance, HDFC ergo based on my credit card, after long discussion on the phone I purchased the health policy. The executives who called me that time said that I need to pay Rs. 373/month as premium. That amount will be deducted from my credit card. But they over charging my card every time.
    I am a physically disabled person so I unable to pay the monthly EMI properly because of my physical and financial problems. I called to customer care and asked them to cancel the policy as I don’t want to take anymore of their false promises. But till they charging me through my credit card. The next day, I got a call from a representative; he had a conversation with me and he was trying to convince me to continue with the policy. But I refused and asked her to take necessary action to cancel the policy.
    I sent written letter to the bank but no use and also called to customer care to cancel my credit card and the HDFC Ergo health policy. So, please take the necessary step to cancel my insurance as soon as possible as I am not able to continue with it. Please help to stop the monthly charging by this september month.
    If i dont cancel in time i ve to pay over charge money for the insurance.i could nt reach them through toll free number.i m still waiting for the mail from them.Their service is not fast enough.
    I even called the HDFC Bank credit card service numbers to Cancel my Credit card. No one is listening and they say our PCs are out of order/not working.
    I don’t understand why should I pay for the closure of the policy which I didn’t want to take and was given to me I would like to say by cheating me. Sir please try to help me by getting my money back.
    So, please take the necessary step to resolve the above issue.

    Default Cancellation of HDFC Ergo Health Policy rearding

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
    I purchased a health card for my whole family by Jan'11 after a frequent calls from the customer and they informed that they will debit an amount of Rs. 700/- from my credit card byu EMI for an year. But I m unable to pay that amount and I was simply locked financially, only because of this. After paying all the balances by getting loan from my office, also I m receiveng msg that the renewal will be made automatically by Jan'12. So I called the toll free number and gave a cancellation request (Request No.: 00304432), then I received a call from an executive from Chennai. I reported the same to them, to cancel it, but without any response, she rejected my call. Now I m hopeless, as there is no contacts to them except that Toll Free, which will be entirely busy round the clock. As I m having health cover for my entire family in my Company itself, I want to cancel this HDFC ERGO Health Policy, after paying the money for one year, with no use.

    Hi, This Divakar from Chennai.

    I have recently got HDFC Ergo insurance policy for me and to my father with my credit card. however i want to cancel HDFC Ergo insurance policy.



    because my company has provided the insurances for every one, so Please cancel the Policy and debit the amount the back to My Credit card.

    Default Please cancel HDFC ERGO Health insurance

    Hi, I'm Srikanth from Bangalore. I got a HDFC gold credit card recently. I got the confirmation call from HDFC people on Friday 30 dec 2011. During the call i was told about the health insurance [for me and my mom] with Rs. 1034 premium for 12 months. I agreed for that policy. But the same evening when i reached home my dad had opened a new health policy from ICICI for my entire family. So i'll have to pay 2 premiuims as i'm the bread earner for the family. Hence I decided to cancel the HDFC ERGO as i have not yet signed the policy papers. From Friday evening i've been trying to call the HDFC person who told me about the policy, Shravan, but his mobile is switched off till now. And customer care numbers are useless as i stayed on call for half hour and more with no one reverting.
    On top of that today i recieved a message saying "Your HDFC bank credit card has been debited for HDFC ERGO ins. policy premium. You'll rcv ur policy shortly". How can they debit money without me signing up any papers? I understand all the calls were voice recorded. That doesn't mean there is no chance for cancelling the policy.

    I request HDFC ERGO to kindly cancel this policy and give me my complete credit limit asap. My card number is 4346 7810 1420 0422. Call me on 9844379118 after the cancellation.

    Default HDFC ERGO cancellation

    My Policy no is HN26112011000770.. By Nov 2011 a representative called me and explained me about ERGO Policy. They told they will send the document. After reading if I wish i need to sign and courier it to activate the policy. But without my sign itself they activated my policy.I have called them to cancel it, they told In order to cancel the policy you need to send a letter to the bank. I have sent the letter to them. But no reply from them. Im trying to contact them for the past 15 days. But no one is taking the response to cancel it. Now what i need to do ?? Really tired of calling

    That fellow finally answered my call and he says it is 'impossible' to cancel the poilicy... isn't that ridiculous...

    Post HDFC EGRO Policy Cancellation

    Dear sir,

    Recently I got a Titanium Credit card and the HDFC Credit Card bank called me up for an HDFC Bank Egro Policy for 12 months I have accepted it and then the next few days the bank called up again to say to take the 24 months policy instead.
    So I told them to cancle the 12 months policy and that to credit back the amount to my credit card. But when I got the first statement for the bank they mention that two policy are there that I have to pay. I cannot understand why the bankl is doing this after I have cancel the 12 months policy the bank said that the money will reflect back in 48 hours. but after a week I got this statement.

    I have not got my Credit card yet that time and now just days after I recieved my credit card I got these statements. WHY is the HDFC Ergo no cancelling my 12 month policy.

    The Credit card HDFC people called me up and said that the cancellation request number Token Number is : 194335.

    Please help me cancel my first policy of 12 months. Why is this if no action is taken then I will have to deactivat my credit card or make legal inquiries to the matter. Please help me I do not want to pay for two policies of the same, rather go with one.
