I have bought a TATA SKY HD + on 25th August, 2011 and it was intalled on 27th August, 2011.
I have bought it by paying Rs. 6564 vide Credit Card on their IVRS system. The name of the Sales Person was SWAPNIL (+912066498200) from their registered office. Along with the TATA SKY HD +, I had subscribed for 1 Year - Supreme Sports Pack.
My Major Areas of complaint are as below.
1. My Supreme Sports Pack does not have all the channels I was promised and all the channels that were depicted on their leaflet. When I called the customercare for this, they said "We will forward a request and it will be serviced withing 24 hours"
Now, it is more than 5 days, and my complaint has not been taken care of. Now When I call Cust. Care again, they say the same thing. That they will register a complaint.
2. SWAPNIL - The Sales person, had told me that Rs. 500 would be installation charges. To which I agreed and subsequently paid. Now, Post installation, I was charged Rs. 100 extra which I was not aware of. To worse the matter, they took my account balance to -100 and deactivated my connection. I forwarded multiple complaints to Customer care and they told me "We will register a request which will be responded in 24 to 48 hours" , and Its been a week, I haven't heard from them.
On the day of EID, I had to look for open dealers and get Rs. 100 recharge to activate my connection.
I find this very wrong. I feel cheated. I wish to surrender my connection and get my money back.
Also, I would recommend other people not to buy TATA SKY HD + as the service is very poor.
