Apartment Booking cancellation Hi, i have booked a flat from a reputed builder in Bangalore and i mis-calculated the monthly emi and now i cannot afford the apartment. I have paid Rs.5Lacs as booking amount. I have not entered into any agreement. I now want to cancel this booking.
What is the law in regard to cancellation. Will i get back the booking amount? Please advice

I have booked a apartment by paid of Rs 1,00,000/- as token advance. I did not go into agreement. Now i cancel the booking since i am getting relocated. In the booking form it is mentioned "nominal fees will be deducted while cancellation". Now they say 20-25% of the money will be deducted but intially they said only 1000 will be deducted. What is the procedure to get my money back? Can some one help on this?
