I have lodged a complaint with Airtel customer care (landline no 0124-4386297)regarding the modem I am using and some billing related issues around 12 of August. Those issues are yet to be answered let alone solving them. They are stalling my complaints by giving me unusual excuses. Actually I want them to change my modem as it is not working properly. Now they have a policy of not replacing hardware once it crosses its warranty period i.e. 1 year. My modem's warranty is till 28 August 2011 and I guess this is the reason why they are stalling it. When I call them they said that it occurred due to some physical damage and hence will not replace. Despite of assuring them that there are no physical damage they don't want to listen. The local vendor Alcatel once came and used my laptop without my knowledge (as he told that he is checking my connection speed through my laptop)to sign my complaint as done to satisfaction. The billing issues is that Airtel told me that with a new plan my bill will be capped at 300 but I am paying as usual. When I called to complain they said there executive will call me. when I call 121 they ask me to call 198 and when I call 198 they ask me to call 121. Moreover they take unusually long time to register a complaint ever since they made their complaint call chargeable. This guys have become total cheaters and looters. This is totally unacceptable and harassing the customer. I do not know where else to call and therefore taking this stern step. Hope I will hear from them soon
