I have taken the package for me and my parents of Madurai-Rameshwaram-Kanyakumari for 2 Nights & 3 Days. At the time of booking, they gave me my tour program containing the details of my package. In the package, they told me that i will be staying in a Deluxe-I hotel, Ramkrishnan Tower in Madurai including complimentary lunch. But instead of this they made me stay at RKN Residency Hotel which is an economy hotel. Toilet flush was not working, there was only one double bed with unhygienic conditions. There i was told that there is no lunch in the package and also they asked me to stay 1 more day in Madurai as there was no seat availability from Madurai to Bangalore on 15th August night. Also, they give us the normal bus for Rameshwaram-Kanyakumari trip and also missed few places citing the reason as we will be late for the further places. They drop us at madurai outside the hotel telling that your bus is being booked and these are your seat numbers. It was heavily raining in madurai and they have also not arranged an auto for us to reach the bus stand. At the bus stand, when spoken to the travel agency, they said that there was no such booking for us. We were shocked. When we tried to call back our package people, they were not picking up the call. We were left with nothing else then booking tickets on our own and travelling back to bangalore. They have taken Rs 3300 per head for this trip.

It was the full harassment situation for us. I request that a strong action being taken against these travelers and compensation should be paid to us. Otherwise they we will keep on doing this activity and we common man will be always at the receiving end. We have to stop this cheating otherwise they will keep on doing with the tourist whatever they want.
