REMINDER 2.
Yesterday I was told by the customer care executive that their senior would give us a call, and also they would take actions to solve my issues, but nothing has been done.
Does the deadline of 24 hours mean anything to you?
Do you really want to be dragged to court?

Sir,
This to bring to your notice the problems we have been facing with your services since the last 3 months.
I had installed your IPTV service in May, and to my dismay, the picture quality was not up to the mark for my 42 inch LED TV. Hence, I called the
technician and he said that I wont be getting a better quality than this through IPTV. I lodged the complaint right away for its disconnection ( on 13 May, 2011). I used to call the customer care center to check the status of my request, and sadly the customer care executives were so dumb that they used to send a request for continuation of IPTV. The next time I used to call the customer care center, the executive used to tell me an altogether different scene than expected. This horrendous disaster was made worse when I sent an email to the Nodal office stating the concern. Sadly, I got a reply from them in which they said that they would send a technician for improving its picture quality. Since I knew that it won't help, I wrote back that I didn't want a technician, and would simply like to discontinue the service. And again, the mail was misunderstood. They send us the confirmation that they would discontinue the complete connection (landline).

So I thought that mails won't help anymore. I tried calling the Nodal office several times, but on the auto answer machine, it never accepted the request number I entered (which i used to get from the customer center/ mails). And when I used to call the customer care center, all they did was issue me a request number, which never helped. And every-time they gave us their deadline, they never met them. They always said that our request was in process and would get solved soon. I even told them to transfer the call to their senior, but they said that all the lines to them were busy. They assured us a call from them within 2 hours, but the call never came. It happened around 5-6 times, but no respite.

After 3 months of this struggling, finally I got to know that my IPTV connection was disconnected. They said that they would take away the equipment and wires within 7 days, but now it has been more than 2 weeks that no one came. Also, at the time of installation of IPTV, I was told that I would get a FULL MONEY REFUND if I don't like it. I had lodged the complaint as soon as the technician told me that it won't work fine on my television. On asking the customer care center about this issue, they said that the refund is not possible. They were too harsh and also demanded a written proof on this clause. I think that the sales executives are too tricky, they say unrealistic things to get more customers, and now I feel that I have been tricked on this. I have paid for the IPTV box, installation and 3 months of rent which was a waste for me, just because the services malfunctioned at your end.

IMP: Please check the mails sent to 121@airtel.in and nodal.ncr@airtel.in for previous correspondences. Also, please have a look at the misunderstood replies they had sent to me. I have also attached the same below.

Also, at the time of installation of IPTV, they had changed our DSL router. But they took away my previous DSL router, which was mine, as I had paid for it.

I would request you to please return it back to me. Finally, I would like you to

check on these points and get them done-
1. Disconnect IPTV
2. Take the IPTV box and wires back
3. Change the bill plan to DSL+landline @Rs. 999 ( unlimited access, 2Mbps speed till 10 GB download, talktime free if its between Rs.300 and Rs. 2000)
4. Refund of IPTV box.
5. Give the DSL router back.

If this doesn't happen now, then I'm sorry I'll have to take some serious actions against your company.
ALSO, I AM NOT GOING TO CLEAR YOUR BILLS UNLESS MY ISSUE GETS RESOLVED.

Please do give me a call on my mobile number for further clarifications.

ATTN: MR. GURMEET SINGH SANDHU

Sir,
I have been a troubled customer of your services since last two months. I had installed IPTV services at my residence in the first week of May. Due to its slow speed and poor picture quality, I had sent in the application of its discontinuance, but its a matter of shame that in spite of so many mails and calls, nothing has been done till now. The customer care operators don't follow what we try to explain them, rather they put on a continuation request to the company. The equipments haven't been taken away from us, and now we have lost all hopes of getting anything cured in this case. I have got repeated calls from Airtel for non-payment of my last bill, but here is no mention of IPTV in any case. And to be very clear, I would like to tell you that I won't be clearing my previous dues until my complaint gets resolved.

My next billing cycle would start from 26-06-2011. If proper action is not taken on time, your company would be on fault, and my further actions would make your company pay a heavy price for it.

Below, please go through the entire case history which took place since that time. Also, please take into consideration the number of calls we made to your customer care number.

One last thing, your customer care operators need to be educated enough to understand your customers' need. Or else, they are just a waste.

Hope to get a serious action towards my mail. Otherwise, this mail would cause a real trouble to your company, and its repute.
Please get back to me ASAP.

Thanks,
Ravi Gupta
