Last Monday, 25th July 2011, I had put a request for a service since the pipe that leads from the tab towards our Aquaguard is leaking with the simple result that I am not using the Aquaguard since Monday.
On Tuesday evening we got a call from someone from Eureka he would come within 5 min. However, the person never showed up. In fact, till date no-one has turned up despite having a service contract for which we paid over 2.000/ roepies! Few months back some person came over to do a regular service and he forced me to take a service contract upon which I called the helpline asking if its really 'compulsory', since the service guy kept repeating this word: compulsory, compulsory...
Helpline said its not compulsory. On that he left without doing a service and came back the next day. I was not at home but my wife was and she payed for the service contract. BIG MISTAKE it clearly shows now!
For a simple pipe that is leaking no-one has attended our request as yet. I use Aquaguard to cook with and boil Aquaguard filtererd water to drink. Currently I have to buy bottled water to drink. My loss even after having a service contract. There is no call from Eureka explaining why this takes so much time.
Since there is no response from Eureka I have already visited plumber shops but unfortunately they don't have this type of pipe so it has to come from Eureka itself.
I sincerely request to get my money back for the fake service contract. The main reason why no one is attending is simply because Eureka already has our money and coming to fix our problem would just be a free service.
Only now I realize how bad the service is after visiting consumer complaints websites and seeing so many complaints.
