    Default HDFC Bank Credit Card Application Issue

    To whomever it may concern:

    I have been pushed to the edge by your credit card department and hence was forced to type in this feedback.
    I have been applying for a credit card for the past 4 months since I opened a salary account with HDFC. Your representative at my office asked me to fill up the form and said I should get a card within 30 days. Its been 4 months since and I keep getting pushed around saying that my application has been disapproved. I would like to bring it to your notice that in the past 4 months I have submitted the required documents 4 times. 1st was at the point when I opened my account then the next time was when it got declined and a rep was sent to my address then after that I myself walked into a local branch and submitted the documents twice.

    Earlier atleast people bothered to call me and inform that my application has been declined for some reason but in the past 1 month the status on your website hasnt even changed though I have submitted the documents twice. After about 30-40 calls to your call center all I have realized is that I will only be pushed around. The reason that you give is that my business address and residential address havnt been confirmed though I am at office 6 days a week and have a salary account from the same organization/address. Earlier 2 people actually came to my residence to verify the address but that was back in May. Since then no one has actually bothered to even look into my application though I have taken the pain of going to your branch and submitting the documents twice.

    The worst part is your call center where all people say is you have been disapproved and nothing more that could help. On asking to speak to a manager people either disconnect the call or refuse to transfer the call to the supervisor. After being a customer with HDFC for the pas 8 years if this is the kind of service I get then I am sorry to say that I would have to stop banking with you. The last option left before me would be to close all my FD's and bank accounts with HDFC after recieving such pathetic customer service. I also have my own business account with HDFC which I am planning to close as well if nothing is done about my concern regarding the credit card. Hoping for the best

    Default Disapproval of creditcard

    This is nagulmeera who applied for the creditcard in HDFC bank. MYcard reference no is 12071913909820S3.Why it is not approved till now please tell me the reason. I am not satisfying with that creditcard disapproval and i am going to the other bank,thankyou.Mobile no is 9176022087

    Unhappy Credit card application disapproved

    HI All,

    Unfortunately I see my application status "DISAPPROVED". I dont the exact reason, when I called the customer service they just said it got disapproved permanently for 6 month to re-apply for the same. This is really disgusting and sad on my part after I sumitting all the required documents.

    Can sommebody comments on this. This is my first credit card that I have applied for. Sentimentally first one got rejected .

    Hi, This is Ajit who applied for the creditcard in HDFC bank. Mycard reference no is 12102216368920W2.
    I am not satisfying with that creditcard disapproval and what to know the reason. If application is disapproved for financial stability then sorry to say this please d'not call again and may sure that my number would be deleted from your database and i am going to apply to other bank,thankyou.

    I haven't received any letter from hdfc bank yet.So i talk to customer care a no. of times(to confirm myself exact reason) and they everytime said me that they need my
    address details with documents once again to process and confirm my card.So finally i sent all the required documents along with Declaration of Address & Contact details form of hdfc to

    P.O.Box 8654,
    Thiruvanmiyur P.O. ,
    Chennai 600 041. via hdfc bank drop box.

    They haven't given me any tracking no. so that i can confirm my documents status.Customer care says that they will confirm me after receiving and i will get my card within 10 working days.
    Let's see what happens...........
