    Hi,

    This is Ashad from Chennai. Recently I have applied for HDFC credit card and got a call from HDFC ERGO insurance representative regarding insurance policies. The following two policies got initiated over call and they have deducted the premium before I have got the Policy documents itself. I have tried for the customer care and not able to reach them over phone.

    Health Suraksha: Policy Number- 51053880
    Sarv Suraksha Advantage: Policy Number - 51053881
    Reference No: HN19012012000093

    Request to cancel both the policies immediately,Health Suraksha Policy number:51053880 and Sarv Suraksha Advantage Policy Number: 51053881 without deducting any amount further from my credit card and refund the amount deducted from the card as soon as possible.

    Subject: Request for the Cancellation of Health care policy

    I have applied for cancellation 2 weeks back already, and its not yet been cancelled, and I get calls from HDFC representatives every second day about why I want to cancel the policy, this is just a delaying tactics from HDFC people to loot away money.

    I am again stating I would like the Cancellation of Health care policy through this written notice, which is added from my HDFC credit card) and the HDFC ERGO Ref No is HN18082011001035. I would appreciate a written confirmation from you within 5 days of the effective date on which the policy gets cancelled.

    I was initially given sold the policy by HDFC representatives as a free policy ,I was told whatever sum I pay as premium will be paid back by filling it under Section 80D, I cam to understand it only provides exemption not a rebate. Please cancel my policy immediately and reimburse the portion of my policy premium that is still unused and discontinue the monthly payments that are charged from my credit card account.

    Default Hdfc ergo policy cancellation

    In January 2012, i was contacting the hdfc credit card department.the hdfc rep told me to buy the health insurance.as i was satisfied withtheir things and
    policy i gone to buy it through my hdfc credit card number:4617 8620 0196 4378.but the worst thing which has happened is the policy number is not received to
    my mail or to the hdfc credit card address mentioned.i raised a request to hdfc ergo to send the policy number to mail or adreess mentioned for credit card.
    now i am not intrested to take policy AFTER SEEING THEIR BEHAVIOUR CUSTOMERS and i want to cancel my policy.please do it asap.so it will be great relief for me and put the amount back to my credit
    card:4617 8620 0196 4378.

    PLEASE CANCEL AND CREDIT THE AMOUNT BACK WITH IN NEXT 15 DAYS SO IT WILL BE GREAT.

    Exclamation HDFC excutive accidentaly acivated the ERGO policy

    Hi,
    On December 13th HDFO executive called me for HDFC policy and explained the details ,at that time i said i need an week time to decide on it whether to take policy or not. For that she said for income tax purpose confirm the address, card and phone details, and the policy only activated after my confirmation after get the policy detail papers and study and agree to it.and she said after studying the details if i'm not willing means then the policy will not be activated. I said ok for that.

    But after confirming my details with in phone call i got the message that policy got activated. for that i called her asked about the same. for that she said policy got activated accidently, thats not a problem she will cancel the policy and refund the full amount whichever deducted from my account. but it doesn't happen so. so i called her again and again she told the same type of responses that policy will be canecelled in 24 hours and amount will be refunded. But still i dint get the policy cancelled and didn't get my money. note:already i paid 2month premium).

    i want to cancel the ergo policies and want the money those my money and those i paid for DEC,JAN months premium and other changes.

    My reference number is : HN12122011001170

    Hi,

    I was sold the HDFC ERGO insurance by an executive under the promise that I can keep looking for other options also and I can cancle it anytime within a month. However when I finalised upon another insurer and called up the executive to cancle the policy, He told me that it might take more than 50 % of the permium as cancellation charges.

    This is ridiculous as he has till date not shared any written policy guidlines documentation with me. I have asked him to show me this clause written anywhere. Also I am still to get the policy document which he is not sharing with me.

    My policy number is - 51058516. While talking to the call center I found out that they will take a cancellation request then a cancellation department will call me and then the request will be confirmed. It is also ironical to know that giving a policy takes only 2 business days while cancelling it takes 10 business days.

    Please get my policy cancelled and get me a full refund. My policy number is 51058516.

    Hi This is Pramod Gole.

    Even I've very bad experience with HDFC credit card.
    Without my approval, they started deducting EMI from my credit card. I had called multiple times HDFC credit card cust care.However Cust care representatives was not willing to take the cancellation.
    They want me to write an application for cancelllation for policy which was initially issued without my approval.

    Please cancel my Policy and debit the amount the back to My Credit card.
    My HDFC Ergo insurance policy#50590008 with ref# HN03022011001181

    Last year I had booked two hdfc ergo policy but due to personal reasons i had ordered the customer care person to cancel both of them. Recently I got a message that one of my policy is pending for renewal. The policy number is : 50603341c (Renewal was pending till 16th Jan 2012)

    I don't have any reference number for the same as I don't have the documents regarding the same. Please do the needful to cancel this policy and refund the premium amount.
