It was either on 1st or 2nd of June that airtel people visited my office campus to offer the Postpaid CUG plans. Around 12-14 new joinees along with me opted for the plan offered which was Airtel Special Value CUG 199 plan.

In the evening when my mobile number 8130188007 was activated I found that i have been given a different plan named Airtel Special CUG 199 Plan.

Though both the plans mentioned above are quite similar in name but have very different call rates and benefits. I called some of my colleagues and confirmed from them whether they have got the right plan which was offered at the office. I found that it was only me who got a wrong plan. I immediately called up the Airtel guy named Dharambir who visited the company earlier in the day.

He assured me that I have been given the wrong plan by mistake and it will be corrected within 2 days and also my billing will be as per the origional plan offered to me.

But even after regular follow up with this person there was no change in my plan. I used to call him every 2nd day and he kept saying that the plan will change and when I was fed up with his lies I registered a complaint on 19 June 2011 with the customer care. I was told that the matter will be resolved by 23-June but I was shocked that no one even followed up on the complaint and no one even bothered to call me up as promised. Again on 28 June I registered a new complaint with customer care and again there was no follow up.

Finally I got my HR department involved and it was after their pursuing that my plan was finally changed to the origional plan promised on 8th of July but my ordeal did not ended up there.

Since then I have been requesting them to provide me the correct bill as per the origional plan because it was not my fault that Airtel billed me as per the plan which had higher call charges instead of what they offered me at the campus.

I received a call from Airtel guy asking me to make my outstanding payment. I bluntly told him that they need to provide me with the correct bill and than I will make the payment.

I was shocked to hear from him that there is no such complaint from my side registered and thus there will be no change in the billing.

I just want to know that even after so much calls to their call center and follow ups they do not even register the complaints and than the consumer can do anything because as per thier official records no complaint exist.

I am just tired of dealing with Airtel over last 48-50 days and would never ever again gonna use these services. These people talk about providing customer services but what they actually do is mental harrasment of the consumer.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.
