We purchased a Food processor on home shop 18 , the details are below,

I was quiet disappointed to see the below defects on the delivered product ,
1) The products looks absolutely an used and old piece with lot os scratches on the mixer base.
2) I was unable to use citrus juicer , since the accessory cord winder is missing.
3) I was unable to used any of the four blades of the chopper since the holder is damaged.

I had already lodged a complaint to the customer care with reference number 64775723, and as per instructions , I have returned the product thru Courier DTDC , consignment number D06386548.

After many calls (all STD) and many feedback exchanges, still we haven't got the replacement product or the amount. Also the response very very poor, sometimes the call is suddenly put on hand or never picked up ...

This is the last hope to get the proper response from the company , the ultimate next step is filing a case ...

Your input - 2011-07-01 - After a week of wait from the above response, I havenot still got the replacement or any explanation ... We have placed number of calls to the customer care team regarding the replacement, but never got a satisfactory answers ... Confirm back with a specific date , when we can get the product ...

Your input - 2011-07-05 - I am tired of the repeated message. Even today I had the communication with manager of HomeShop18 and she told the request under process and will get to know the status soon ... Only two points 1 I dont want the product any more, Just send me the amount back , Paid amount Rs.3814 and Courier charge Rs.780. The courier bill is submitted to scan attherateof homeshop18.com mail id 2 Else the issue will be dragged to consumer court , as there is no proper response I am getting ... First up all it is mistake of homeshop18 , not verifying the product state, before delivery to the end customer. secondly the replacement policy is poor and response from is stereotypical.
