    Unhappy Airtel BoradBand/FiedLine - Wrong Billing - 5th time Consecutively

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am a customer of Airtel broadband fixedline since 2007. Recently i have become a new victim of their incompetent work skills. Since the end of Feb'11 cycle i have been getting wrong bills their onwards for subsequent months. i.e. for Feb'11, Mar'11, Apr'11, May'11 and now for Jun'11 too.
    The issue is they had activated a WebsiteBuilder service on my account without my consent and i was able to know about it only when i got the bill of Feb'11 cycle.
    I called them up and asked them to deactivate it and warned them don't activate any service on my account without my consent. But i didn't know at that time they are not going to solve it and when Mar'11 cycle ended i got, yet again, wrong bill and to my surprise the website builder was still there in my bill which was deactivated. I called them and mentioned the issue and then later they admitted they have wrongly charged me. Please find below the mail content which i got after deactivating website builder.

    At that time the person (this time the senior person) told me it will never happen again. But little did i know at that time this issue is not going to get resolved in the coming months too. Yes it happened again in the billing cycle of April'11, May'11 and now June'11.
    And there's more till April'11 i was only getting website builder rental charges, but from May'11 onwards they have activated one more service which i never ever asked to activate. "online desktop storage pack" though this one was hilarious. Why would i want AIRTEL's online storage? At any point i will prefer my external hard disk rather than online storage that also of AIRTEL's.
    So i called the customer care again and this time again i spoke to senior member and she admitted they have wrongly charged and said they will adjust it.

    Fine but in all this, i am being tortured. I have called them so many times in last 5 moths, wasted my precious time in getting things resolved and wasted my money too(by calling them). Every time i was assure this won't happen again but it happened again and again and again. So this time i decided i won't call anybody in Airtel now for the issue and raise a concern with consumer court.

    Sir/Madam i think you can understand my frustration level now. These people activate services on people's account without their consents and when they ask them to remove it they can't even do that. And to me it appears they think in India Law can't do anything if they cheat with their customers and for customers they don't care about at all which is clearly visible.

    The amount that you are seeing from Feb'11 onwards starting from "This month Charges" is the wrong one. Having raised the concern in Mar'11 they asked me to pay full 2048 and assured me it will be adjusted in Next months bill. So you can see i paid 2048 in Mar'11 but they sent wrong bill of 2086 again and i asked them to correct it for previous and this month after correction i paid 983. And rest you know.

    Please help me!
