Since becoming a member of Artha Health Options I have paid around Rs,20,000 approximately for various options but my main concerns are -
1. Illegal and fraudulent transactions on my Credit Card Account without my permission
2. Deficient Services
3. Failure to provide promised services of Artha Options

Artha Options had earlier made illegal and fraudulent transaction on my credit card without my consent. When I confronted them regarding the same over a telephone call they initially tried to convince me, then confuse me, and finally when I faced-off with hard data from my bank statements they finally agreed to a "mistake" and promised to offer some extra service in exchange for the money they had taken illegally from my account.
***This should clearly indicate what a SCAM Artha Options is running.***
Finally, i canceled the credit card whose details Artha possessed by writing a complaint to ICICI Bank (card issuer).

SECONDLY, Artha Options had received payments worth 8000 from my card (50% of it without consent and illegally / fraudulently) in exchange for a 4D/4N holiday package for a couple in a 3-star accommodation like Sterling Resorts (Ooty & Kodaikanal) and a similar resort in Munnar. The package also included ALL meals (except lunch) for the entire duration of the package for 2 people.
BUT, when I tried to make bookings for Ooty to avail this package the customer care executive (Muskan) confirmed that Sterling Resorts was not available for the dates I requested and that if I am ok she will provide an alternate resort in Ooty. I adjusted to the fact and agreed. She provided me a booking confirmation email for

On the day of the package start i was supposed to report at the resort by 12 noon. Half way to Ooty (near Mysore) I called up the reception to check if everything was in order for me to stay check-in at 12 noon. At that time, the owner of the resort spoke to me and told point-blank that "Sir we are not allowing any Artha Options guests to check-in with us because Artha has not paid us any money for similar packages in the past. Already they have lot of money pending due to us and till they clear those dues we have decided not to accommodate their guests"
Half-way on if I hear such a thing what should I do?? I was very angry and frustrated with ARTHA at that moment and returned to Bangalore. I wrote a mail for refund of my 8000 as they had failed to service my request.
***This incident also shows that ARTHA is cheating both service providers and customers in parallel..!***

After more than 2 months of waiting ARTHA has not yet refunded my amount and are not responding to my calls or mails.

PLEASE ADVICE THE NEXT COURSE OF ACTION FOR ME. I AM PLANNING TO CLAIM ALL MONEY I HAVE EVER PAID TO ARTHA OPTIONS (~20K) AS WELL AS A COMPENSATION OF RS.1 LAKH FOR CHEATING ME REPEATEDLY BY TAKING MONEY FROM MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT AND FAILING TO PROVIDE A CONFIRMED PACKAGE. MORE THAN WANT OF MONEY IT IS TO TEACH THEM A LESSON SO THAT OTHERS WILL NOT BE CHEATED BY ARTHA LIKE THIS IN FUTURE.
