I booked tickets through GoIbibo for my close friend's marriage from Bangalore to Mumbai. The ticket was booked for four people. Due to some personal issues one of the passengers cancelled his plan and I requested GoIbibo Customer care to cancel one person's ticket. They cancelled all four passengers and blamed it on some technical issue. I was fine with this but then they have yet not returned the full refund that they promised for.

The tickets were cancelled on 30th March and I was told that they will deduct cancellation charges for one person of Rs 1000 and give full refund for all the rest. When I got my money back on 14th April, full Rs 4000 was deducted. On complaining they accepted their mistake and said the case has been escalated. After that the Customer service person stopped taking my call with the other person telling it will be dealt soon. They never got back to me. Last week I told the person that I will take the case to consumer court then the agent gave the phone to his manager and since then the manager has the same words "the case has been escalated and will be dealt soon".

For one they do not care for cancelling on the marriage trip and then they even don't want to pay back the money.
