    Thumbs down SBI Credit card application rejected

    Myself YASMIN SHEIKH, was approached by a marketing team stating that I am entitled for an SBI Gold credit card.My mother expired on the 9th of april.I was in Pune and in total grief.I fulfilled all the formalities after returning to Mumbai.Verification was done on the landline and at my residence.I received messages on my mobile, updating the status of the application.Application No:1411860001487.Form No:S0007607971.I do not know the exact reason for rejection.My request to the the concerned authority is that stop playing with people's emotion and giving them an assurance of providing the world class golden card.I am highly disappointed with this kind of attitude the department holds.I think I have been fooled by the department.I will be waiting for a courteous reply from the concerned department and hope the procedure is completed. Receiving a card is a matter of extreme happiness,so please be a bit human in your approach,rules and regulations.My Mob No: 9324865533.

    I have been waiting since May for some positive action to be taken by the SBI credit card department.I believe the department would ensure that I receive my card and this issue is resolved.Expecting a positive reply from the department.My mobile No:9324865533.

    I have been highly disappointed by the SBI cedit department who did not resolve my application rejection issue.They could have shown some courtesy in this matter.I am still expecting some interaction so that I receive my card.They marketing department conveniently called in april,when I was going through a very sad phase (demise of my mother).My interaction on the phone and Verification was also completed.I hope the department will come up with some good news for me.

    Default complaint on issuing SBI credit card

    My name Harikrishna Rao from Bangalore working for IBM , was approached by a marketing team stating that I am entitled for an SBI Gold & more credit card.i applied for credit card on thursday (29/06/2011),submitted my HDFC card xerox and HDFC statement,driving license,salary slip,pan card zexox copies and i recevied the sms on 03/07/2011 stating that your app no.1418260000498 will be processed in 21 days and on tuesday is again received sms on 05/07/2011 stating "that we are unable to accept request for SBI card as it does not meet out internal policy requirements for card issuance"..I do not know the exact reason for rejection.when i called to person who has taken my application and documents is now not lifting or responding to my call ,His mobile number is 8601801290 and 7899481385 and 080-49059900.My request to the the concerned authority is that stop playing with people's emotion and giving them an assurance of providing the world class golden card.I am highly disappointed with this kind of attitude the department holds.I think I have been fooled by the department.I will be waiting for a courteous reply from the concerned department and hope the procedure is completed.     Thumbs down Sbi application rejection second time.

    DEAR SIR/ MAÁM,
    Thank you very very much for declining my credit card for the second time.I am so happy that I am unable to control my tears on receiving the message on my mobile.This time my Form No: S0007674833.My name YASMIN SHEIKH from Mumbai again received a call.Personal Verification was done.Telephone verification complete.Documents submitted.Date02/08/2011.Message received today-20/08/2011 on my mobile ---Dear applicant, we regret your SBI CARD APPLICATION is declined as we could not establish contact with you despite repeated attempts.I am completely frustrated and speechless.I was positive and may be trusted the concerned chief authorities.The moment I received this message,it came as a shock.Can you people imagine the state of my mind.I really don't know how to put this compliant across to you.I also have no idea whether the SBI CREDIT CARD DEPT would really help me out.This has become a ridiculous procedure.I was happy and also had a little faith in the dept.Thank you so much for the agony,,tears,disappointment.Your Customer Service Dept suggests that I can reapply after 6 months.I have such a horrible experience that I will never apply and never suggest anyone this card.I will keep posting about my experience that I had since April.     Simply unprofessional attitude. I was not even called by the credit card dept team in Mumbai or the head office in Delhi for letting me know the status of my application.This is the condition of our system after 65 years of Independence.My documents were submitted in Mumbai (dadar).Now they fabulously disconnect the call or do not pick up the phone at all.Good practical joke!!!!! The customer care dept for credit card replies--""Sorry Maám your application is declined.The dept cannot share the reason.Its strictly confidential.There are rules and regulations that are followed.'" In this whole episode what I fail to understand are the hopes given me,that I am eligible for a Platinum card,do I agree the terms and conditions of the card,various benefits and privileges provided,card annual fee declared and follow ups.How ridiculous,the same dept do not wish to intimate me about my application status and why????? Why did it decline?????? I am sure like the first application was declined,I received a short letter,this time too the same is expected.DO NOT GIVE FALSE HOPES IF YOU PEOPLE CANNOT FULFILL IT.

    Myself vikram harsh, was approached by a marketing team stating that I am entitled for an SBI railway credit card..I fulfilled all the formalities after there call Verification was done on the mobile and .I received messages on my mobile, updating the status of the application.Application No:1503860001346.Form No:CO000201659.i hadapplied fon 4thfeb2012 and on 10th when i approched on website to know the application status that has been rejected i didnt understand why it has been rejected I do not know the exact reason for rejection.My request to the the concerned authority is that stop playing with people's emotion and giving them an assurance of providing the irctc railway card.I am highly disappointed with this kind of attitude the department holds.I think I have been fooled by the department.I will be waiting for a courteous reply from the concerned department and hope the procedure is completed.     Default SBI CC Application Rejected - No Reasons Provided

    Hi,

    Somewhere in mid 2011, I had applied for SBI Credit Card; application No - C0000141353 but the same got rejected without reasons. Since October 2011, I have been following with SBI through their email ids - ddhody@ge.com; feedback.gesbi@ge.com and services.sbicard@ge.com but have not received the reason for the rejection of my application for SBI Credit Card.

    On checkinig RBI Website, it states that it is mandatory for the bank to provide a valid reason and am planning to file a complaint with RBI for the same.



    Any better options available with the members?
