Hi

I recently shifted from chennai to ernakulam and had engaged a packing and
moving company for shifting my stuff. The company gave me a receipt in
which the insurance premium was separately mentioned.. However, no
insurance receipt was issued separately and I was informed that I would
receive the same directly from the insurace company. DUring the
transportation a few pieces of furniture was damaged and the transport
company is playing hide and seek with me. I know realise that they have not
taken any insurance cover.

Could you advice me how I can recover the money they collected as insurance
premium and also make them pay for damage to my furniture?
