I had registered with 'UNION OF PLACEMENT COMPANIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES' on 23-02-2011. Before signing the aggreement, my telephonic conversation with Ms. Snehal, Ph : 9768010649, was as follows :-
1) Ms. Snehal told that," " our company provides manpower to their clients, and we provide candidates resume to short list, and after that, they line up an Interview at their place, and if suitable, they will send the desired candidate for an Interview at the clients office.

Further she told,
For the same, you have to register with us for a minimum of 1 year span, and the membership fees would be Rs. 4412/- . And also, if any candidate joins the clients company, neither the candidate or the client has to pay any money. " "

2) Then I told her that, " " All is ok, I am ready to register, but only at a condition that, my immediate requirment is of 5 Sales Executives, if you can complete that before a week, I am interested to register with you. " "

3) Then, Ms. Snehal told, " " No worries, we already have 40 resumes ready in our database matching your requirment, so your requirment of candidates will be fulfilled the 2nd day of making the payment. " "

4) Then I told her, I agree to your proposal, and I am ready to pay the membership fees to you, You can send in your Execuitve to collect the Cheque and sign the agreement. " "

This was the conversation with Ms. Snehal, and the very next day, a guy from their office came to our company and did the agreement and took the Cheque in favor of 'Union Of Placement Services management Services' dated 23-02-2011, with amount, Rs.4412/-.

That was the day, and now today is 18th April'11, I did not get a single candidate lined up for the interview atleast. Forget about the Joining. Everytime I make a call to them, they say " Please let me check with the concern department, we will let you know about the Candidates". But, no call has come uptill date.

After getting helpless, I scolded them, and said, I will have to complaint to Consumer Court, if you do not give immediate services, and they are least bothered and are not even afraid of customer complaing to the consumer court.

When i ask for Refund, and discontinueation of agreement, they tell, there will be no refund in any condition, they say, it is mentioned in the agreement. But, i want to say, If they don't want to refund the money, atleast they should give the services.

i do not think, a placement consultancy takes so long as 2 months to give 5 candidates for joining.

There is ZERO activity from their side, and i had no option left but to write a complaint here.

Let me see, if I get a refund from them, or I have to consider, I have been cheated.

Please help me, please.
