Refund pending for 20 days for cancellation of train ticket on makemytrip.com Sir
I made a railway reservation through makemytrip.com on 01 Mar' 11 for 09 Mar' 2011. I canceled the same on 08 Mar' 2011. My expected refund date was 15 Mar' 2011 and till today (4 Apr’ 2011) I haven’t got back my refund money of Rs. 1410.
I made numerous calls and wrote numerous emails in the period. My emails never fetched any response and the call centre executive always kept saying that the case was pending with “Accounts Department”. Its been 20 days since the expected refund date and I'm still waiting for my cancellation money.

With reference to your post and as communicated to you by our representative, kinldy note that your refund is under process. You may expect the same to reflect in your account within 5 business days or as per the rules of your bank.

Why is there a delay in the process? Are you going to give my money back with interest for the delay? When the expected date of refund is 15th march, what right have you got to hold back my money for eternity?
