Railway officer standing at the inquiry suggested that as train is late by more then 3 hours you will get the refund accordingly I cancelled the eticket to my surprise 0.00 was shown as refund the cost of ticket is 1037+20=1057rupees I am senior citizen 62 years of age why the railways are denying me my hard earn money for no fault of mine. the train was late and as per rule railways should refund the money as appliciable, can any one help

Hi Mr Keer,
I have faced the same problem. The train was late by more than 5 hours at the source. I have been following up with the TDR process for the past 14 months. Twice, I have received the same message stating that there is no refund applicable on tatkal tickets.

If you have been able to find a resolution to the problem, please share the same. Did you approach any court?
