Dear Sir,

I would like to register a complaint against the organisation CARAVAN PACKERS &
MOVERS, AG-28, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, G.T Karnal Road, N Delhi-42.

The details of the case can be referred from the below mail which was sent to the
concerned organisation on 23rd of Feb and till date there has been no response from
their side. Our patience has lot been tested and now it has been intolerable for me
& my family. As per the mail below the amt that I had claimed was Rs 89750/- but
this amt was claimed in the month of feb and now even apr is going to end. Sicne
then I have been hearing only one thing that is we would get back to you whichw as
never done. Infact we had to keep on doing the follow-ups without any result. And
now I would like to add up some more cost related to follow-ups and avoid of mental
peace for more than two months. The total amount that I would like to claim from the
org now is Rs 149750/-

This nto being the only case even some of our hosuehold goods were damaged during
transit; these damages were to be covered by insurance but even that has not been
done. To mention the damages in monetary terms it's Rs 14950/-

I would request you to pls take action against such defaulter companies; infact
their transport licence should be forfeited for giving false commitments to their
clients and then not fulfilling their commitments.

Apart from the damages that has been made there were some other expenses
made by us due to the abnormal delay in goods being delivered by your
esteemed organization. Am mentioning the details of expenses for the same:

Booking Date: 30/01/2009
Expected date of delivery : 07/02/2009 at max
Actual date of delivery: 17/02/2009
Delay: 10 days

Temproary stay in hotel for 10 days costing to Rs 1200 p.d
Unpaid leave of self: Rs 1100 p.d
Unpaid leave of my husband: Rs 2200 p.d for 5 days
Expenses incurred on phone due to follow-ups: Rs 3500
Expenses incurred by visits to your local office for follow-ups: Rs 250
Conveyance charges incurred as bike being in consignment: Rs 2000
Total expensed would be around Rs 12000 + 11000 + 11000 + 3500 + 250 + 2000
= Rs 39750
Apart from this there were unlimited problems such as mental trauma;
sleepless nights, baby suffering for having outside food for which costing
cannot be done. For this I would like to charge atleast 20% of goods being
in the consignment. The cost coming to around Rs 50000. Thus making the
total amount to be Rs 89750/-
