excess charges received in electricity bill Dear Sir,
We had some sparking problem in the authorized BSES meter and regarding the same a complaint (no-17) was made on 29th march 2009 which they did not rectify.
Therefore on 17th may 2009 the meter got burnt and which was subsequently replaced on 23rd may 2009 after making a complaint (no-17 on 17th may).
As entire fault was from BSES only but still we received a bill with additional amount carrying the cost of new meter.
When we raised this issue with BSES they simply said to approach consumer court otherwise there is no benefit to visit them.
Please suggest.

excess electric bill in lucknow i recevied electricity bill of R.S 42970 instead of rs.8740 my metre reading is 13912 units total and they sent me a reading of 21000 units.
now my problem is that, that i have visited electric office in chinhat more than dozen of times but the problem remains unsorted, now i cant pay my own electric bill
i am waiting for my reading till 21000 units , or should i do something else........ india is the worst country in govt office matters
