    Default Extra Billing Amount while closing Tata Indicom DSL Connection

    Tata indicom DSL people mail me to charged till 15 th Dec only. but till date they cant send me revised DSL Bill wef upto 15/12/2010. They send me old bill again that is bill from 3/11/10 to 03/02/2011 also they send there recovery agent to home for force fully recovery.
    I cant understand why should i pay for duration (15/12/2010 to 03/02/2011) when my DSL connection is closed on 15/12/2010

    Therefore I request you please pay your kind attention and save me from mental harassment.

    Angry TATA INDICOM DSL : Extra bill on closing account (Pune)

    Hi, I put in a request to close my TATA INDICOM DSL connection (A/C No: 975039914) on 21st Oct 2011. Request #285078779. I wanted to close my connection since TATA DSL was not available at my new location after a relocation within Pune. I paid the outstanding bill as of 21st Oct 2011 on the same day through Billdesk online portal (Instant Pay). Later in February 2012 TATA INDICOM contacted me with a Rs.3500+ outstanding balance. At that time when I checked the records it came to my notice that the bill payment done earlier is not in my bank records. This I suspect is because of some online transaction issue for which I was not intimated. On receiving this information I contacted TATA INDICOM to negotiate the outstanding balance. We settled for Rs. 1234 (Way more than my monthly balance but I agreed since it was a late payment). I paid the agreed amount as the closing amount on 21-Feb-2012, This time making sure that I keep a print out of the online Txn as well (Ref # MICI2690816991). This week I received a court notice from TATAINDICOM to appear before Shivaji Nagar court on the matter of an outstanding bill of Rs. 2500. This is clearly against the settlement agreement we had on phone.

    While making rounds of court for saving Rs. 2500 is not in my best interests I feel cheated. I will never use TATA INDICOM DSL ever.
