On 20/01/2011,I received two text messages on my cell no. 9800961247(airtel). When I tried to open this message,
my mobile got connected to internet showing one service message.I immediately disconnected it.But again I received a message from AD_54321 "THANKS FOR DOWNLOADING MIXGAWPACK99 WALLPAPER FROM AIRTEL.YOU HAVE BEEN CHARGED Rs. 99." Immediately I contacted the costumer care.I got a very simple and flat reply from Mr.Diwakar Adhikari that since I had tried to open the service message and it was a such type of sight that my money had been deducted.
Then I asked him three questions _
1. How a consumer can come to know by seeing on screen about a sight ?
2. How can you deduct the amount without confirmation from consumer ? and
3.How can you send commercial messages on my mobile no. ?
(I have operated DND via--1015415836 dated- 31/12/2009.)
Then he gave me a complain no. 012064557300 assuring It will be resolved before 01/02/2011 but so far nothing has been done. It is requested to credit my balance.
