Unhappy No Response against Complaint for LG LCD TV 22 Inch

    Dear Sir,

    My Name is Anoop Khatri.

This is in regard to the complaint registered for LG LCD TV (Complaint registered with reference of My Contact No. 9818881069).
I have purchased a LCD TV of LG about 2 month back. On 14th Jan-11 that TV was not working. I have registered a complaint to LG Customer Care for the same. After 3 days LG engineer visited the location (against a TAT of 24 Hours) and said a part of TV has fused and he will come tomorrow with part and resolve the issue.

But till date no engineer has come and whenever i am calling to customer care/service center/sr. officer everybody is saying we will check the status and update you shortly and nobody is giving me the status.

Request you to please do something for me and arrange to replace my TV or refund the money.

Default LG TV Replacement Policy complaint:

    Hi,

Myself Mohammed Ajmal i bought LG 32 inch Plasma TV Model No. 802KCEA11268 in Aug 2008.
After that i took the extended warranty for three years which cost me 6618 RS (around).

In 13 Dec 2010 i got some defect on my screen and i register the complain in customer care complained no.RNA101213010055
In 24 Dec 2010 LG technician took my TV to the service center stating that there is some problem with the panel.

After that in Jan 27 2011 Service Center supervisor Mr. Chandrakant told me that they can't fix the problem as the part is not available so i will get the replacement and ask for the Invoice copy of TV and PAN card copy i send those doc same day.

Finally after so many calls to the service center and customer care department today 04 FEB 2011 service center's supervisor Mr. Chandrakant called me and told the term that there will be depreciation of 25% on my purchase amount, but if i consider the amount which i paid for the extended warranty then actually there is a depreciation of around 45% indirectly and i have to pay difference amount to take a replacement.

Now if i want to get a new TV for that i have to give a difference amount and they are giving me TV on MRP (Max Retail Price). But when i cross check the same model in eZone i found there is a difference around 10000Rs on the price for example from eZone i can get a TV in 28000Rs but the same TV they are giving me in 38000Rs that means again i have to bear a loss of 10000Rs.

Could any one please describe me why i should bear this much loss although i took the extended warranty on my product..

I am unable to under-stand why there is depreciation, because i am not selling my product and my product is under warranty till 2013.

Please clarify my issue on argent basis.

    Best Regards
    Ajmal
