I am in a fix simply by subscribing to the DTH service of the SUN TV. I have never experienced such a worst
service from any other service providers.

Initially I got the DTH service of SUNTV installed with their Antenna and instrument alongwith a ONLY
MALAYALAM CHANNEL plan. The service was good in the beginning and looking to the service, I renewed
my subscription for another 6 months. At the time of renewal their Customer Service executive informed me
that if I pay additional Rs: 12/- per month I can get Sony TV/Star TV/Discovery channels also. Accordingly
I purchased recharge coupen worth Rs:792/- and recharged my subscription for 6 months from Nov-10
onwards. Here onwards my pain started. After one month of trhe subscription renewal they discontinued
all Malayalam channels except the Free to Air channels. When I checked with their Customer care they
informed me that I will have to pay additional amount for my preferred Malayalam channels like Asianet
which I used to get till then. They also informed that it is their pre-rogative which channels are to be given
and which to be discontinued and I don't have any choice on this. I made a complaint to their Customer
Care at Tamil Nadu and thereafter they discontinued all channels -Hindi, Malayalam all except the free to air
channels.

Sir, they have got an agreement signed from me which I did not attempt to read due to the unreadably small letters.
Can any service provider cheat its subscribers by getting unreasonable and unacceptable printed papers
signed? Do we have any protection provided by the Government out of such cheaters ?

Could you help me sir? I want my subscription refund and also the antenna and instrument cost which I will
return to them.

I shall be thankful for your help in the matter.
