We purchased a water heater (Majestic 1 Ltr 4.5 KW)for our house on 4th Dec 2010. It conked off in within 3 weeks. Local electrician who had installed it said there is a serious defect and disconnected it immediately.. He asked us to call the service centre and stated that they will fix it for free since its in the warranty period... Called the service centre and put a complaint with them on 15th Jan. Today when I call to follow up, I am being tossed around between the local service franchisee, their head office and the service centre... The service centre (Staff Farah Khan (1800222252)) says we have sent a request to the local franchisee (022 6584 2494) & we should follow up with them... Local franchisee says they haven’t received anything from Service Centre and we should complain about this to the head office (022 22089092/93/94). Head office hangs up without a hello or not answering the calls. Service centre staff are just non courteous and refuse to help. One staff by the name Mayur just kept disconnecting my line after taking my complain no (4310)... (Multiple Calls made on Jan 22 around 11:30 am) they wouldn’t allow you to speak to their supervisor nor give you the name of their supervisor stating they do not have the authority... I am repenting investing in a Bajaj product... THEY SUCK BIG TIME!!! I will never buy a Bajaj product and instead of wasting time & energy on follow ups have made up my mind to buy a good quality alternative brand that would offer better service.
