With reference to the above, I wish to inform you that, I have booked the cylinder through vide booking no. 1549 dated 07.01.2011. Even after the completion of 12 days from the date of booking, I have not received the refilled cylinder till date.
The Gas Service Agency is accepting the orders of refilled cylinders after 21 days from the date of delivery of the last cylinder. Further, they are taking a period of 10-15 days every time to deliver the cylinder. The average period of receiving the cylinders is around 35 days.
Further, there is poor service in all aspects of services to the customers:-
If the booking for refilled cylinder is done through phone, either the phone will be unattended (or) the agency will enquire the customer information and take no action for booking the refilled cylinder. On enquiry about the status of the cylinder, it would be surprise to the customer that booking of the cylinder has not been done till date. The Gas Service Agency will not inform the booking number also.
On many occasions, booking status will not be properly answered.
There will be abnormal delays in delivery of the refilled cylinders.
Even, if I make the compliant through the phone numbers, which are displayed on the notice board. No actions are initiated and the above poor service continues.
Therefore, I request you to kindly take stern steps to rectify the discrepancies and also restore a good service to the consumers.
