This is in reference to the Samsung 40 inch LCD tv that I bought on 20th June 2009. In the Month of the April 2010, I started experiencing problems with the tv. The TV would work on its own , change the channels on its own and increase sound and menu options on its own. This initially only happened in isolation. But from May 2010, the problem started occuring every time I switch on the tv.

I lodged my first complaint in late May, 2010 and was given a reference number : Ref# 8414057487. Some technician from Samsung came home, checked the TV and said that the Panel of the TV and the Board that controls the remote on the TV had to be changed. I had clearly mentioned that since the warranty was getting over, the change need to be made as soon as possible. Now I am being told that I may have to pay for the panel when I clearly registered the complain much before the warranty period ended.

Ever since then, I have called innumerable number of times to Samsung Customer Service numbers 180030008282 and 180030308282 and spoke to various people like Abdul, Rekha etc and all would promise me resolution. Somebody would call me from the Service Center the next day but no resolution.

Please help me resolve this issue. I have spent 75,000 Rs on this TV and havent been able to use it since May,2010. Please appraise me on how I can take the legal route on this case.
