I purchased a IFB washing machine(Model : Digital 5.5kg) from GV Audio Vision - Erode, during the month of November 2010.

A person came to install the machine and he just explained us quickly on how to use the machine and he made us purchase extra accessories like water softening machine, Stand and some powder to use with detergent.

When we ran the machine, It was literally moving from its place during the "spin" and hitting the wall(We have to hold the machine in order to avoid hitting the wall ). We called the customer care and told about this. In spite of telling them that they have provided a different stand to our neighbor who has the same make and model machine which doesn't let the machine move, they said they can't do anything for it as they have only one model stand .

In the midst of fighting for the stand, the machine stopped working at the end of December. We launched a complaint immediately. A service person from IFB came to check the problem after 3 days, but he couldn't diagnose the actual cause. He said he'll get a new 'board' and try it and left. Its been 3 week since then and they never turned back. Every time we call them they give some or the other excuse like, 'the part is yet to arrive from Goa' ,' we'll come after the holiday' etc.,

We are fed up of them. In spite of spending ~Rs.30,000 on the washing machine+accessories, we end up washing our clothes in hands. Its annoying. We should ban their products if they are keep behaving like this for ever.

Please help me get some solution at the earliest.
