Hi,

I have booked a ticket in tatkal service on 15 jan 2011 for a special train from gudur junction to secunderabad junction for 17 Jan 2011 travel.

On that day, the train was running late by 5 hours, it was suppose to come at 11.50 pm to gudur.
when contacted the station master , he told that as train was late by more than 3 hours you will get the full re-fund tomorrow , and you can claim it in any where in india.

i have traveled that night to secunderabad junction in general coaches and it was horrifying experience for me.

After reaching secunderbad , i was told that i can collect the ticket refund at any railways reservation counter after 10 AM on 19th jan 2011 onwards, reason being as the train will reaching secunderabad on 18th evening only.

when i went to near by railway reservation counter i was told that i can not claim the re-fund at that counter i need to go back to gudur junction and collect the money.

again when i contacted secunderbad railway station master , he told that i need to go to rail nilayam and submit a complaint and get the re-fund money from that counter. but he didnt told me in how many days i am going to get the money.

This is little irritating for me .. when i have paid the money upfront to buy the rail service and if they have failed to service me , then they should treat us fairly instead that they are asking me roam here and there for my money.

I just want to file a complaint in the court. I need your advise. i dont want to go any where except near by railway reservation counter where i should get my money at any cost. i just want sue the railways for their irritating behavior.

Note: i have the ticket with me will all details.
