Dear Sir,

I hold ICICI bank credit card (5177194484343006) from last 2 to 3 years. Few months back I have payed complete outstanding amount after missing a due date. I was unaware that I have missed due date still now. As a result late payment fee is added to my credit statement. I dint see my statements as I was confident of not having any outstanding amount. As few months passed, late payment fee is piled up and now become 1949. I understand that it was my mistake of missing due date and not noticing statements. I have called customer care and requested to waive late fee. They told that its not possible as I was already requested to waive late payment fee once. I have also written mail to ICICI bank care about it and received same response. What should I do now? It hurts me to pay 2000 without using single rupee in it.

Is it legal from there part to put late payment fee on late payment fee?
Shall I go ahead and make payment? or can I challenge this?
