    Default Complaint against ICICI BANK

    Sir/Madam,

    This is to lodge a complaint against ICICI Bank Credit Card/Loan Department who has illegally put the amount in my savings account on lien for credit card outstanding/Loan taken from the Bank. There was absolutely no communication (via email, phone call and hard copy letter).

    When I enquired about this they talked very easily said that they have authority to do so. When I have asked for a settlement on my card they told I have to pay an amount of 28000/- against my outstanding for which they are not even giving the details… why?????. My account is blocked, earlier they have already debited Rs.29000/- from my same account.
    Also, they have marked LIEN on my other account against the LOAN taken from them, even though I have paid off all the dues they are not removing the LIEN.
    In this way they have debited almost more than 50000/- amount from my Bank accounts.

    I was not at all contacted either by Credit Card Dept or Recovery Dept. Now they are telling that they'll not remove the blocking until unless I pay the total outstanding which they are still showing as 27000/-.

    Particularly look for answers to the following queries from my side:


    1. Why wasn't I contacted about details regarding the case, during the case investigations at all?
    2. Why was I not informed about the one sided decision taken by the bank?

    How can credit card/Loan department put amount from my saving account on lien for recovery without informing me and after my continous call to customer care to solve the dispute on my credit card payment/Loan?

    I would like to lodge a case against ICICI Bank. Also, please remove the lien on my all my savings account at the earliest.


    I request you to please contact ICICI bank and remove lien on my savings account.

    Default Not able to access intent bakning dueto new security option

    Hi,
    I am a ICICI customer fore more than 4 years, they have recently started new security funda which i think is good to some extent.
    When ever u login internet banking u have to insert a OTP code which u will receive on ur mobile phone.

    What if the customer do have the mobile number.
    If no mobile then no internet banking.

    Also, indian customer receive this code on mobile and NRI customer get on thier email address:

    Why this difference.????????????????????/

    If they want ot help customer they try some other security option. OR atleast send code on the email rather rather limiting to mobile number.


    I am not very this service and lookin to change to differenet bank if this not solved shortly.

    Hi, I had remitted a sum of Rs.8952 towards my card account with ICICIBANK no. 9401270107466000 on 1/07/2011 by NEFT thru SyndicateBank Neft Ref No.P11070131503032 and proceeds is still not credited to my card account even after 4 days. I made umpteen calls to customer care but no satisfactory reply.Please instruct the Bank to credit the NEFT proceeds immediately.

    Default ICICI BANK - Name you can trust to create customer hassles

    Hi,
    I had deposited 2 Chqs under single deposit slip on 28 Oct 2011 at your Razzapur, Ghaziabad Branch.
    Details
    Chq for Rs 52735 and
    Chq # 497119 for Rs 250/- drawn on Corporation bank.

    While I have received the credit for Chq for Rs 52735/- I am yet to receive funds for Rs 250/- chq.
    I visisted branch y'day and as per them the same was supposed to appear on my statement today.

    The same is still not appearing and my research with Phone banking suggets that the same is pending due to "Credit Account Number missing"

    Not sure when I have deposited 2 chqs under 1 deposit slip then how can one be credited and other put on hold for the above reason.

    Now I am being asked to visit branch and put request to get the same to my account.
    I am not going to visit the branch as this is the fault of branch /ICICI and they need to fix this without any more loss to me.

    I will be lodging a formal complaint with RBI and Ombudsperson within next 24 hours if I dont get any resolution.

    I am the a/c holder of ICICI Bank from last 1 years, My hard eanm money is gone, due to ICICI repeatedly debiting my account without any intimation. They have started charging Rs.827 under this category (QABChgs). I am not aware what type of charges are these. They never informed me regarding these charges either by Email or by Letter. Who has given right to ICICI bank to deduct the money without informing us? Because we kept the money in Bank that does not give right to this Bank that they can do anything whatever they want.

    There should be some formal process for doing all these things. I want my money to be credited in my a/c which they have deducted three times from my a/c.

    Fraud done by ICICI bank

    I am a old customer of ICICI bank. I have recently opened a account for my wife at Bangalore MTP (Manyata Tech Park) branch. On 20th April I walked in to bank along with my wife to open a FD of 1Lack Rs. I asked the bank staff that I want to open a FD with 9.25% for the Maximum period possible. They informed if I do it for 5 years I can get 9.25%. I filled the form accordingly and clearly mentioned that the interest I need is 9.25%. All went fine . After a week I received a FD certificate and to my greatest surprise I found it is reflecting 8.75% instead of 9.25%. It is a clear case of Cheating !

    When I walked in to the branch again with the complaint branch manager apologized for that informed - this staff is new and he do not have adequate knowledge. He said this will be rectified immediately............But since then nothing has happened. So Now I understand that it was an intentional mistake which was done to cheat customer.

    I need a strict action against it.
