I am Deepak Dave, today morning I purchased “Dark Clean ointment” from Shreeji Medical & General Stores, Address: 4, Lalbahadur Shastri Shopping Centre, Harni Road, Vadodara-390006, Phone number: 0265-2488732/3013829, Cash memo number: 10192, D.L. No: 20 GBB 258/ 20 B GBB 766 , 21 GBB 257 / 21 B GBB 679 .
But while checking the ointment at home I found the cream was opened and it was half empty, secondly from the look of the ointment shows it’s an old product with new expiry date on it. When I went back to store for replacement, the shop owner refused to take back or replace the product stating he is not afraid of consumer forum. He is not willing to take compliant itself. Please suggest appropriate procedure so that this does not happen again to any other customer with same shop. I would like to bring in to the notice that we don’t want money back but product should be genuine and it should be replaced by the shop owner & not by the manufacture as I have purchased from the shop.
