Complaint against rediff shopping
I have purchased on Childrens' English Learner Laptop by paying Rs.659/- from my credit card. After not receiving anything in next 20 days I tracked the item in the rediff shopping website and found that the item was despatched by Blue Dart courier under a consignment number on 15.04.09. After finding out the address and telephone number of Blue Dart courier from the rediff link I called them next day. On enquiry I was told by Blue Dart that the item was booked by some Ojjas Enterprise from Yogeswari, Mumbai and next day before the item could be despatched this was withdrawn by the Ojjas Enterprise. Subsequently I informed the rediff in thier feedback link at shopping site atleast three times and called them more than four time. First the customer desk of rediff told that they will arrange to send the item within 7 days, then after 10 days when enquired they told they will refund the amount and credit the amount to my credit card account within next 3 days. When again called they told with certainity that they will credit my account within next 7 days. The 7th day expired on 28th day of May, i.e today. Please help me.

Rediff refuses to refund or redirect the ordered item
I ordered a pack of Diwali Gifts - Mix Dry Fruit Box Pack MIX Dry Fruit Box Pack 700gms Rs 649/- (totalling amounting to Rs.715) bearing the order no.5626624 to be delivered to the address of my relative Mr.Kumar Raghuraman at Hyderabad.The item however was returned to rediff stating that the reciepient was not present at that moment to collect the item.When I asked rediff for refund the told me that since the item is perishable and also that the rules stated that the cancellation charges for special gifts has to be borne by the customer.
I would like to refute that the rules stated that cancellation of the item is not allowed from our end and not that couriers could simply return if doors were closed once collecting heavy shipping charges from us.Secondly dry fruits are not 100% perishable and the aramax courier attempted to deliver the gift on 25th and returned the item to rediff on the 28th.On the 29th of october when I rang up the customer care and asked them to divert the package to my residence at Chennai,and that I was willing to pay the extra shipping charges . But they told me that since the order was approved and payment realized they could not do anything.
My item having reached them intact they are neither refunding nor diverting the item to my address nor exchanging with anything else.They say that their rules allow them to swallow items for which customers pay.Please help.

With reference to your mail, we would like to inform you that we have investigated with our concerned department and they have informed us that the delivery for the product was attempted on the intend date ,but our logistic partner where unable to deliver as the recipient shifted from the address.
Also, it is clearly mentioned on the site of the product page that Our logistics partners will attempt delivery of the items once. Incase the delivery is not executed during the attempt, due to wrong address/recipient not available/premises locked, the customer shall still be charged for the order. Being perishable in nature, neither rediff.com nor our enabling partner will be able to accept any returns of such items.

suspicious use of my ATM card by some one for purchasing with rediff shopping
I am om prakash jha.i have ATM card(debit card) of canara bank.some one has stolen my money via internet shopping and that shopping done with rediff shopping.My ACCOUNT no. is"8662101002535".CUSTOMER-id is"40294623".ATM card
no. is"4214 5886 6202 6622". shopping information is provided by canara bank financial intelligence unit but they are not putting details about this with regard to:-
1.place where it happend.
2. email-id of accused.
3.address of accused.
3.details about goods that has purchased.
5.cyber cafe or computer system details by which they done.
6.cyber cafe registration code.
7.location of cybercafe or computer.
sir,i had called to toll free service of canara bank also they adviced me to contact with you for details report.

Rediff Shopping is cheating people by offering cheap vendors to sell online
I ordered a formal shirt through rediff shopping using cash on delivery.
They have sent me a defective shirt which is asymmetrical in shape and is no where close to a standard shirt of size 40
This was just my chance at online shopping. But has been highy disappointing.
Consumer court should make laws to ban rediff from allowing vendors who are sub standards to cheat people
as this is against the customer interest

Complain against rediff shopping
I have placed an order in rediff shopping on 9th march 2012 for a Blackberry Storm 9630 and my order number is 6974697 where it stated that it will be delivered in a weeks's span. After a week i enquired them and they told that due to some unavoidable circumstances it ll take few days more. On 17th march 2012 i got a confirmation message that it has been handed over to the courier and the consignment number is 564535072. so i tracked it on their website but its just showing no info available. Again i checked on 22nd march 2012 and it is still showing the same. When i put that into the notice of the customer care they said that it ll be resolved in 24hrs. But i didnt got any response from their side yet. so i called the courier service provider and asked them why there is a delay in the parcel to which they told that they havent got the parcel yet so i need to enquire again to the concerned people of rediff shopping.
It has created a lot of problem mentally and also i already paid them through my debit card so money is also an issue. So, I request you to have a look into the issue and take suitable action against the company an the people responsible for that.
I have attached a file stating the order and other information.

Complaint against Rediff Online Shopping
I had placed an order with rediff online shopping with
Order Number - 6993758
Firstly the order for shoes does not get completed as they did not have stock for that.
Secondly the t-shirt which i had received i totally different from the t-shirt shown in picture.
Please help me.

I’ve done online shopping of Baby Gift Soft play Gym / bed worth Rs. 679 and paid Rs. 739 (Rs. 60 for shipping and handling) from shopping.rediff.com. My order number is 6922878. I’ve placed
order on 15th feb 2012. It was mentioned on their site that the order will be delivered within 4-5 working days. When i didn’t get my order till 10th day of my order, i sent a query, and they finally dispatched my order.
I’ve got my play gym 2nd march 2012(after 15 days of order placement) and I was shocked looking at the product. This is for the first time that I got the worst quality product on online shopping portal. Bed’s buckles and rod buckles were not matching pairs, so I was not able to assemble the bed gym. Moreover, 2 out of 5 toys were broken. One toy was fixed with cello-tape. One hanging string was also open and height & bed size were not as displayed. I tried tying buckles with rope, still my 3 months old was not comfortable with height and size of the bed. They have displayed that baby can sit and play, I can assure, baby even can’t play while laying on the bed. I’ve got the worst quality product and that too late too. They’ve not checked quality before sending the product to me. I feel that I’ve wasted my money on this unprofessional shopping portal. When I submitted complain to rediff site, I got mail stating that return back the damaged product within 7 days with the instruction “Careful attention is to be given with the packing of the product to avoid damage during transit”. I believe that it was their conspiracy to ditch consumer with worst product and then torture the consumer by not picking the defective product back and asking the consumer to courier it.
An executive from rediff shopping called me and told me that they do not pick back the product from Patna, however they pick back the defective products from other cities. After long discussions and e-mails chain, rediff agreed to arrange pick-up the defected play gym but that was just a formality mail. No one has come to pick up the product back.
Here comes, one more bang. When i was packing the defected product for the so-called pick-up person, I found the price tag of MRP RS.560. Please have a look on attached photos, you will never ever shop with rediff after viewing them. I’ve shopped baby play gym/bed worth RS 1500, on discounted MRP of 679. They’ve cheated
me by sending the broken and without QC passed product of MRP 560. I’ve already written a review on their cheating coz they have sent the worst product, that too get delivered to me very late.
Now, they have stopped replying my mails. They have cheated me not only by delivering the damaged product, but also overcharged as well. All the time I used to get a sorry mail from Mausam Das but that was just a drama. I guess this is also a way for them to cheat their customersAttachment 4875Attachment 4876.
If consumer court can do something to ask rediff to compensate me for this harassment, I will be grateful for this.

Fraud rediff shopping
I had placed a order in rediff shopping. My order number is 7097143. But when I try to check my order status it gives below message.
"Order No: 7097143 has not been placed by You".
I have an SMS proof for the order and the credit card statement on money deducted for rediff.com
I contacted customer care yesterday but no reply from them till now.
If consumer court can do something for this then I would be grateful.

I have ordered for super 7 speed powerful hand mixer through Ojjas Enterprize TN ID : 18162972 on 17th Aug 2012. I received the product and was not working. The product seems to be an used product its in a shabby condition. According to the mail from the coustomer care I have returned the product and mailed the copy of the POD to them on 7th September but no action have been taken from other side and the amount has not been re credited to my account yet. Please take necessory action to re credit the money as early as possible.
