    Default Complaint against ClearTrip.com

    Hi,

    I made a flight booking through ClearTrip.com for Pune to Lucknow; Trip ID 1009165501. My flight G8-362, dated 26th Nov, 2010 got canceled but I have not yet received the refund amount or Rs.5286. I got an email from cleartrip saying that the amount would be credit within 7-14 working days. After 15 days when I contacted the customer support they said that the amount would be credited within 2-3 working days but now it has been more than 1 month. I called customer support several times but there is no satisfactory response but keep on giving me further time-line. I also contacted the floor supervisor but was of no help. Customer support executives even disconnected my call more than 10 times after asking me to hang up.

    In regard to my case, I have the following demands:
    (I) Refund of Rs 5286/- with interest.
    (II) Compensation of Rs 25,000/- for the mental harassment and agony that I have gone through and call charges accrued

    This is for your information and necessary action.

    Dear Uttam,

    As per our records and post confirmation from the Bank, an amount of INR 5286 has been already refunded back to your Citibank account on 28th December 2010. It normally takes 5-7 working days for the amount to reflect in your Bank account depending on the Bank.

    If you have still not received the money, do write back to us and we would be glad to assist you.

    Default Unfair Payment modes Cleartrip

    I booked a ticket on cleartrip form Hyderabad to Delhi, date of journey is 27-04-2011. My trip id is 1103110813. Now I want to postpone my journey. I called up the customer care and they said to I had to pay some charges. I am ready to pay the applicable additional charges. But now they need a credit card. I don't have any credit card. I made the initial payment through net banking. But now they don't accept amendment charges through net banking. I think this is not fair.
    I want to go ahead and file a case against this. Can anybody help me with this?

    I HAVE MADE A TRANSACTION ON CLEAR TRIP FROM HYDERABAD TO NEW DELHI ON 23 MAR 2011 AND THE DEPARTURE WAS ON 25 MAR 2011. UNKNOWINGLY IVE MADE THE TRANSACTION TWICE BUT IT WAS NOT DONE. IVE TALKED TO THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT ON PHONE. THEY HAVE GIVEN ME THE INFORMATION THAT I WILL GET MY MONEY REFUNDED WITHIN TWO WORKING DAYS BUT I DINT GET THE MONEY AFTER 4 DAYS TOO.PLEASE HELP ME OUT.     Default Complain against Clear trip

    Hi,

    Í have booked a ticket from New Delhi to Guwahati on 6th of Oct and till now I haven't received my ticket and the date of journey is tomorrow. I have called on clear trip cust care trice in a day and every time call duration was more then half an hour and still didn't get any resolution. I requested to get the ticket in PDF format however I didn't get any support from Clear trip. Services are really really pathetic.

    Cleartrip Trip ID: 1110066200.

    Hope I'll get any resolution from Consumer Court.

    I have booked a ticket from Howrah to Durgapur on 12th Nov 2011 by train no.12019 Satabdi exp vide PNR no.6302946463,transaction id no.0410329704 & clear trip id no.1110314955, the schedule depature of train is 06:05 but my connecting train could not reach in time as the train no.12838 Howrah Puri exp from Cuttack to Howrah PNR no.6203286341 in tatkal quota. One late certificate to passenger has been issued from Rly authority to this contest as the train reached Howrah at 06:02 where the schedule time of arrival is 04:50. Immediately I have sent a mail to cleartrip.com but no return mail has not been received. Considering the situation return my full amount to my account as the Rly staff given the directoin to get the full amount from the agent as Rly rules says.

    Default Trip ID 11122212839 -- wrong refund amount

    REFUND of charges due to cancellation of my Air tickets for Delhi - Mumbai on 6th Jan.12, and Mumbai - Delhi on 8th Jan
    2012. Trip ID 11122212839 on cleartrip

    *Please note that as per cancellation charges levied by the Airlines, a sum of Rs. 750/- is deductible for cancelled flight bookings ans as such, a sum
    of Rs. 1,500/- should be deducted as AIRLINE CHARGES, and another Rs. 600/- as CLEARTRIP cancellation charges. A total of Rs. 1,050/- + 1,050/- = Rs.
    2,100/- net should be deducted from the total amount of Rs. 7,890/- paid by me.
    The REFUND should be Rs. 7,890/- less Rs. 2,100/- = Rs. 5,790/- NET REFUNDABLE.
    Please look into this matter and refund accordingly. I have taken a Screen shot of the Fare Rules which clearly state that Rs. 750/- as Airline
    charges and Rs. 300/- as Cleartrip charges are applicable on my cancellation. The screen shot has been sent to customer care at cleartrip and Ms. Khyati.

    Please send a Refund of 7,890/- less 2,100/- = Rs. 5,790/- accordingly. The refund has not been made even after promises by one Ms Khyati from Cleartrip.com.

    This refund from Cleartrip is creating a lot of hassle for me, the customer care at cleartrip never reply and i have spent numberous hours because of this refund.

    Hi,

    I want to register complaint against the cleartrip.com. I has booked my tickets with cleartrip for a journey on 15th May 2012 from Dubai to Manila and return.

    The Trip Id for the same was 1204075270. The tickets were for Dubai -Manila and they have done the cancellations on 07 April 2012. but I am still awaiting the refund from cleartrip people.

    At first they told me that the refund will takes 3 to 4 working days,anf then after waiting for that I haven't got the refund and when I called them again they told me 5-7 working days and still its not. and I beed doing the follow up everyday because I need the money to book again for our ticket and then following with the customer care at cleartrip and i get the same answer that i will get money refunded in 5 to 7 working days but its been almost 15 days and nothing has been done so far.You can check the email trail we had before for your investigation. Cleartrip people cannot give me the cancellation reference of the refund, my bank here is asking for that and they refuse to give it, I believe that til now the refund is not precessed.Please let me know how to put a written case against them, I been cooperation on things, put lots of patience for waiting this money and til now never get any positive answer from them.

    Hi,

    I have tried a flight booking through ClearTrip.com from Kolkata to New Delhi round trip(2 Adults) on 05/04/2012 with trip id: 1204055260, it was showing me ticket fare of Rs. 15996/-, while I was trying to pay the booking through my CITI Bank credit card online, meanwhile I got a call from a Cleartrip representative and she has informed that she will give me a Rs. 400/- discount on the same booking if I make the payment through CITI Bank IVR phone call, so I have canceled the online transaction and made a payment of Rs. 15556/- through CITI Phone IVR call. After the payment was successful, she has informed me that the fare got increased somewhere around Rs. 22000/-. So, I have told her I am not comfortable with this price and asked her to cancel the booking. Then, she has informed me that she has stopped the booking and initiated my refund process and I will be receiving the full amount of Rs. 15556/- to my credit card account with in 3-4 working days.

    Now it has been more than 23 days. I called customer support several times but there is no satisfactory response ,but they kept on giving me further time-line. Even speaking to the booking department Team (Ravi and Suresh )was of no help,they took all the necessary details regarding the booking and my Contact number ,also they assured me that they will keep me informed about the refund status and still now i don't have any clue about my refund status.Now a days Customer support executives even disconnects my calls after keeping me on hold for a longer time .

    Thus i have done follow up with their customer care through e mails and Phone calls,neither of it was effective enough for getting my refund.




    As a evidence i have my CITI bank transaction email, CITI bank credit card statement, CITI Bank One Time Password(OTP) used at the time of phone pay.


    In regard to my case, I have the following demands:
    (I) Refund of Rs 15556/- with interest.
    (II) Compensation of Rs 25,000/- for the mental harassment and agony that I have gone through and call charges accrued.

    This is for your information and necessary action.
