I am Indian Navy active service personnel returning from work who had gone to Mazhuvancheril bakery, KP Vallon Road, Kadavanthra, Ernakulam for having a snack. I bought a Vegetable Puff and asked the bakery keeper to make it warm. He denied saying the current bill will be more. So I had the puffs and took a Mc Dowell No.1 soda for drinking and was asking the bill, a middle aged man rushed into the bakery who called himself the owner of the bakery shouting who parked the Motor bike in the bakery parking lot. I said it was me. He started shouting on me saying that I don't have any sense and I am supposed to park my motor bike on the road side. I told I am his customer and there was no NO PARKING board anywhere to be seen. He told a person having a vegetable puff is not an important customer. I asked him to talk decently. He just pushed me out of the bakery with the help of the bakery keeper. A hot talk arouse and I told that I am going to complain to the Police and I need a bill for the items that I have purchased and I gave Rs 18 to the bakery owner. He denied me to give the bill saying that we don't have a bill. Later I went and gave a written complaint at Thevara police station.
The Bakery owner was rude, manhandled me and the biggest offence he is committing is that he is selling items without bill and there by looting or denying the Tax that is supposed to come to the Government of India which is used for development. If this is the condition of a defence personnel in a shop in 100 % literacy rated Kerala what will be the case of common people. I strongly beg the authority to take stringent penal action against the defaulters. Thanking you
