I was using HDFC credit card from Nov 2008 . And had done the settlement in 15 july 2010 with the bank.According to the settlement i have to pay 30000/- to the bank in 3 installment ,but when the bank people came to collect the 1st installment on 23rd July 2010 the letter was wrong .they mentioned only 2 installment in the letter.when i told the bank officer who was following with me for the payments about this then she said "Sir we will issue you a fresh settlement letter with in a week but plz pay ur 1st installment 0f 15000/- today. I trusted this bank people & paid the installment in cash.

After that no one turned up for the payment & i have not received any fresh letter from them till date. Suddenly they woke up in Nov & asked about the payment I paid the balance payment in 2 installment .
Now i have paid full settlement amount to the bank & they are calling me and saying your settlement in invalid & you have do resettlement with the bank or pay 17000/- to avoid the resettlement.

It was bank's fault ,they did not collect their installment on time & now they are blaming me for late payment. I cannot pay them a single penny.

Please settle this issue & ask them not to call me for any payments in future.

Will cooperate with them if needed.
