Dear Airtel,
I wrote a mail 5 days ago regarding non termination of my airtel broadband service on time but i haven't received any response from Airtel till now.
But i did received 3 calls 2 from retention department and 1 from collection.
I had a long chat with the retention team and the gave the following information.
1) they informed me that i cleared all my bills by octomer.
2) In total I called 3 times to cancel my broadband connection.
3) The first time I called it was for change of address on 1st October. But I was being informed that there is no airtel broadband connectivity in the area of my new residence ( Mahavir enclave , dwarka). So i put a request to cancel my connection on 3rd october.
4) The retention team called me on 7th october to retain me. But I asked them to cencel my connection as there is no connectivity in my area.
5) But the retention agent still put a note that he has retained me by waving off Rs 350/-!!!!!
( now how this possible that I specifically told them to disconnected and I still got RETAINED!!!!!!)
6) Yesterday, one more retention agent called. I told him that I have disconnected my connection in october. He advised me to visit Airtel Office ( customer care). I visited 3 Airtel office in Dwarka today only to be told that they have no idea what to do about broadband connection!!!!
If you check your records than you will definetly notice that I have no Broadband usage since October.
Than, why I am still being as asked to pay?
Why my connection is active?
Why is it so difficult to disconnect my service?
Why there is no support from Airtel?
Why there is a clear definite procedure to disconnect connection?
Why there is no physical location where we can go and write a letter or something to disconnect?
This is horrible experience for me. I hope that some sense will prevail and end all this!!!

Dear Sir,
My broadband connection number is 011-45635689. Its in my name ( Sandeep Das)
Address : 2102 , DDA Multi Story , sector 19b , Dwarka , New delhi 75.
I moved my house on 1st October and called airtel to cancel my broadband
connection. I had cleared all my dues by that date. The customer support agent
advised me that I will receive a confirmation call to enquire if I want to
cancel the broadband connection.
I received 3 confirmation calls in 2 weeks from Airtel to whom I confirmed that
I want the connection to be discontinued. I mentioned then categorically that I
do not want the connection any more. To which I was being assured from Airtel
that the connection will be discontinued.
Now after 2 months I am receiving calls from Airtel Collection informing me to
make a payment of Rs 1032/- . Today the caller even threatened me that Airtel
will take legal action against me if I don¿t make the payment !!! I tried to
call customer support but they are not responding and are not helping me out.
They are telling me that it¿s my fault that the connection is not cancelled and
I will have to make the payment.
If I still receive any threatening calls from your end than I will have no
option but to report the matter to Consumer Court and take legal action. I have
all the documents regarding my last payment that clearly Poilts that I had
cleared all my dues before moving.
My humble request to you is please look into the matter and resolve the issue.
It is not my fault that Airtel Customer service didn¿t cancel my connection
even after repeatedly asking them to.
