    Thumbs down HDFC Credit Card Fraud keeps increasing credit card statement even without single use

    1. Credit card fraud by HDFC Bank

      I have received 3 credit cards over 3 years and the credit statement keeps getting added with newer amounts with some late payment fees, CESS, some Service tax amounting to nearly 800-900 rupees everymonth. I have not used a single credit card of yours at all in all these 3 years and still i am getting this. Now the credit card outstanding statement says i have to pay some 21000 rupees!! This is a classic case of Credit card fraud.

      How this HDFC Credit card Fraud Nexus works?
    1. This is how i am in a problem - Every card comes with some insurance policy attached to it and they bill you the premium on the first of the month and that is how your first transaction is automatically made by them.
    1. Since the transaction is done, you will need to pay them the amount. And they send you the bills but you don’t care to pay them because you have not done any transactions you feel and you don’t pay.
    2. Then they the late payment charges and the service charges etc.
    3. Then very intelligently, they remove the premiums on your account. But they don’t remove these service tax saying service tax cant be removed – that we have to pay!!
    4. If you choose to ignore the services, that is when they will keep adding late payment fee every month. And late payment fee for every month is 600, and tax and everything together it comes to around 900 rupees everymonth.
    5. Today I have 3 credit cards which I have never used and still I have 3 insurance policies on the credit cards and though I have never used them at all, I am getting a notice from HDFC bank that I have to pay outstanding amount of 21000 rupees. Else a notice will be sent to RBI that I have defaulted in my credit card payments, so that other financial transactions of mine would be impacted.
    I would not keep silent – If this thing is continuing – I will ensure that everyone in HDFC bank and at RBI are aware of the HDFC Credit card Fraud case so that this thing is resolved.

    Card account no. 4346 XXXX XXXX 1318.
    Name as on the Card: VikramThomas Pinto
    Please note that I had arranged for a settlement of my credit card with Sivaram from your Chennai office. Each of the payments for Rs.105000/- have been made in cash on 30th of each month.

    For last installment which was due for Rs.30,000/-, which I made an online Citibank to HDFC transfer on the 30th of August 2011. Citibank confirmed that the payment has been process within 1 hour of the transfer. Whereas Sivaram insisted that payment will not get reflected in the account till 72 hours. He urged me to pay another Rs.30,000 in cash and if I do not do that the settlement will be void.

    He further promised to have the excess amount which gets credited through the online transfer by Monday September 05, 2011.

    On Monday when I called him, he had not even begun the creation of Demand draft and said will check and revvert. I did not get any call back. On multiple call backs he said it will happen on Tuesday. Again after multiple call backs on Tuesday he said it will take another 2 days. Now he has been disconnecting my calls and even my message requests. I asked for his manager's number who is apparently Pramod Nair who answered the 1st call and said will call back in 10 mins. It has been 2 days now and he neither returned my call and discconects whenever I call. I have sent multiple messages for updates but have always been disconnected, given wrong numbers and assurances.

    I need a refund of Rs.30,000 immediately as these were for my house expenses. I cannot wait for a week for this to happen.

    Lastly you team is pathetic in service and response. If you checck the blogs online, you will see there are many more who are harrassed and feel cheated about your service. Do you guys ever take action or address the concerns.

    Please call me on the number and confirm the payment ASAP.

    Dear Sir,

    I have a savings account No.03451000014272 with your branch at Hajipur Bihar since last 8 years.
    A sum of Rs. 827 has been debited from my account on the 17 th October 2011 against maintaining
    minimum balance and repeated once again on the 24th October 2011. Being a classic customer it
    was assured that no such amunt will be chagerd .

    I will request you to both the amount Rs.827+827=1654 sould de credited to my account.

    we have applied in GAMADA Aero City Mohali under the HDFC finance scheme. our loan applications No.102582 and 102583.
    as per interuction our over due interest may refund in our A/c since long bank. we have requested to bank so many times in burval, but they are not responed by loan manager Mr. Manish HDFC Bank Sector 8 Panchkula. please expadite the matter. Our A/c No.is 01081930002813.

    Hello,

    The past several Years I have been conducting business with your Bank,
    Account No. <01131050204180>


    On <31-10-2011>, I deposited 15000 rupees in the Above Account <01131050204180>.For my surprise 3000 rs has been deducted from my Account and when i asked one of your Bank manager,he said my salary Account has been changed to Saving account(WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE) for which i have to maintain minimum 10000 rs Can I ask that you look into this and arrange for resolution for the matter ASAP.
    I would suggest that you take a look at this situation or I OUGHT to Go to The CONSUMER COURT. I am sure all your customers would appreciate any efforts on your part to improve the service at HDFC bank Thank you.

    Default Non issue of Bank Statement

    Dear Sir,

    I am an account holder with your HDFC Bank, Paradise Circle, Secunderabad with Saving Account No.00421370000885 in the name of G. Prabagar, resident of Flat No.432, 4th Floor, Chandralok Complex, S.D. Road, Secunderabad - 500 003Today I visited the branch for collecting the Bank Statement from 01-08-2011 onwards of my saving account. The employee say the printer is not working and then I request to send my bank statement to my email id which is recorded with your branch. In the meantime another two employees came and suggested to take the statement online instead of comming the the bank and also they suggested to collect the bank statement from Begumpet Branch, near Shoppers stop where the printer will be working.

    This is not the first instance early also I had given request letter and waited for 20 days to collect the statement.

    Hence, I would like to bring to your kind attention my grievance and problem facing with paradise branch staff. As you are well aware that whenever to avail loan or submitting to any institution there insisting for latest 6 months Bank statement. Here the bank gets the revenue by issuing the statement to clients there are not doing any free service or charity to clients.

    Please look into the matter and issue the Bank Statement to my representative Mr. Sudhir who will accompanying with the request letter for issue of the statement.

    Default request for re-credit money in account

    Dear sir,
    I, PK Sunoj is a saving account holder of hdfc bank. AC No. is 12511150039205.
    While filling a CTET application I paid the fee Rs. 511.28 as they asked but because of some technical problem
    of CTET site, they did not able to receive the money. they told me to try after some time. i did the same procedure
    again. same error occurred again. but money has debited two times from my AC. but still CTET did not receive the amount.

    please suggest me how can i get back my money. I called custem care through telephone same day. they gave me a phone no. and been told to call between 0800 to 1700hrs on working days. but could not get the no. for a single time.

    i have received a notice dated 17/11/2011 ref.no MAT/17112011/02324 Dt. 17-11-11 from HDFC Bank to deposit a sum of 17085/- in loan a/c no.3172905 whereas I have not even seen the HDFC Bank.Please takeup the matter and compensate me for injuring my feelings and spoiling my moral and dignity in the market and among family members and friends.Plz also arrange to send me the photocopies of loan documents if any so as to check the genuineness of loan under my signatures.I have purchased the Activa from Gurgaon by hard cash.Please be kind enough to provide justice and compensation.

    Hi Credit Card Team

    I want to check update on my credit card no.4346 7811 0112 1135
    I have already blocked this card because of cumulative finance charges levied on it, even after my repetead request of reversal (to which they were agreeing at that time but was not getting reflected in the credit card statement).
    My request no. for blocking the card is 12085225125, which I have raised 2 weeks back and I had been told that customer care will get in touch with me for full and final settelemnt, however I have yet not received any call from them. I called up customer care department again to check on that but now they don't have any information on my card as it has already been blocked. They gave me collection department no. 011-30209401/9402 for further information. I tried this no. whole day but nobody anwered the call. Now I really don't have idea whom to contact to know update and to do the final settelment. Let me know how to settel the dues.
