    Default ICICI Bank Credit Card Misuse by Third party.

    Hi

    I am Ramesh Kumar T and i am holding the Platinum credit card since 2008. Recently on 30.08.2010 and 31.08.2010 there is some 4 Unknown transactions updated in my statement.The next minute i called the ICICI bank customer care and requested to block the card.The ICICI bank customer care agent told me that not the 4 transactions on your card,there is 13 transactions happend,by that time the card limit is exceeded.

    The transactions happend in the same day with 4 hours gap in chennai and thiruchurapally(Trichy) which is 350KM far away from Chennai.

    I requested ICICI bank to take the complaint and to investigate the same.I requested them i have to take any action from my side.They told no action need to take from your side.After 50 days one person came and asked me to fill and give me one CDF form. I did the same. On 13.11.2010 received the letter from ICICI bank and stating that you have to pay the money and the card is belongs to you so your the responsible person.

    I called up the ICICI customer care agent and asked for the investigation report, he told me back that that is your responbility to investigate.Now you have to pay the money.They response from bank is very rediculous, they are telling they we are unable to trace the merchent even.

    The total outstanding amount in card is 1,10,000/-. As a normal common man how i can pay the money.
    Please help how i can proceed further now.Please advise what steps that i need to follow now.
