This is Pankaj Chaudhary, I am the poor customer who is suffering from bad services from SONY India.
My case history is as below:
1. I bough BX300 LCD Five Months back and it is under warranty.
2. TV Stop working suddenly on 04.oct.2010, I registered my complaint on 05.Oct.2010 with Sony toll free No. and received Complaint No. 6060730.
3. Today, On 22.Oct.2010, Sony customer care has given me another Complaint No 6174927.
4. One Technician came from Digital Rainbow (Authorized service contractor from Sony) came down to my house on next day. He diagnosed the LCD TV thoroughly and found some problem in Power supply and told me that they will send request to Sony for part replacement and it took more than 5 days.
5. I tried Digital Rainbow many time times to know the status but they never pick phone so I was forced to route through Sony customer care again and finally Digital Rainbow called me and came down at my place with part( A big plate) and changed it. But no success with this replacement. He told that there is some other part also failed (Don’t remember the exact name he called for that part).
6. He came next day and changed that part also but no solution after that he change one more part but no solution, ultimately yesterday he told that Panel is also faulty.
7. I saw a big Postmortem of my LCD TV in front of me and maximum part has already changed and now the part left is Panel only and now they are talking to change that as well.
8. I am not convinced to accept these many overhauling in a brand new TV which I used rarely as used to travel overseas.
9. I purchased it from India only because I will get good service and the kind of service I am getting is not at all fits on the big brand Sony.
10. I am requesting you to please change my TV with new one for my peace of mind and stop R&D on my TV.
11. Infect, I am requesting you to provide me LCD of some other series as I am very disappointed with BX 300, I am ready to pay the difference amount, if any.
Now e45 days has gone but no response from Sony, whenever calling cutomer care they promise some one will call today but no one calls ....ultimately I am frustrated and looking to way out for Consumer Court...I wish Sony awake in next few days ...nether they will spoil their name once again....
I believe now I will receive a good response and Sony India will not spoil it’s name any more.
