    Default Vodafone India Complaint

    Hello All,

    Long ago I filed a complaint and still have no resolution. I never used to read my bills, however one fine day out of curiosity I was reading the bill and found that I am being charged more than 3-5 times of my actual usage every month (Clearly explained to Vodafone executive to which he agreed after observing the bills himself). This all was happening because of their poor network coverage irrespective of my location. When I logged a complaint with the CallCenter, they replied to me with the following SMS:

    SMS from Vodafone

    Hello! We are unable to resolve your complaint dated 24th Feb 2010 for coverage problem as your area is identified as a week coverage area. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

    I truly believe that the above SMS was not a valid reason for not resolving my problem because I live 85%-90% of my life at Hi-Tech City (Main IT Hub of AP and one of the most known areas in India and Global Map). When I called up the CallCenter again stating the same, they refused to help me and hung up the call on me which is quite a usual practice being carried by Vodafone India. I called up again and had the same bitter experience, however this time he did not hang up but kept me on mute/hold and left me on the line to die of his torture.

    Are we paying to Vodafone to get tortured or insulted (which was done several times by the Vodafone call center reps and executives who visited my home).

    I've wrote several mails to vodafone to get the resolution of my problem and when I had no resolution, I stopped the payments (4556/- INR). I asked them to provide me the resolution and take their money, that was like help me to help you request.

    When I asked for help they disconnected my service, assuming that as the resolution to the problem I guess.

    I promised Vodafone that I'll make a payment once I get the proper resolution, however they did not bother to provide any resolution even till date (Complaint was raised on 17th Feb 2010).

    No matter how many times i call, how many times i visit their store for help and or write emails for help, nobody ever did a a follow-up except some exceptions which are very rare at Vodafone.

    I wrote several mails even to the higher authorities of Vodafone (Nodal Officer, Appellate Officer etc) and had no proper resolution.

    They even sent some goons sevral times at my place who were using slangs and were so much agitated as if they would beat me up, luckily I had my friends covering me up at that time.

    Is this what we should expect from Vodafone India, they do not want to give you resolution and or service but would want to take their money by hook or crook.

    They've now sent me a Demand Notice Dated 11-09-2010 (Nov 9th) stating:

    If the sa id amount of Rs.4556/- is not paid within 3 days of receipt of this demand notice, we will be forced to file appropriate legal proceedings against you as deemed appropriate, for having utilized our cellular network and defaulting to clear the said sum of Rs. 4556/-.
    Please help me to file a complaint against Vodafone India for all the sufferings I've gone through.
    I don't want to payout my hard earned money for getting a torture from Vodafone.
    I still promise that I'll pay the amount that is legally calculated to Vodafone upon the resolution of my query.

    Default Diisturbing phone calls for advertisement and unnecessary sms

    Sir,
    May I request you to stop all the advertising phone calls frequently and all the SMSs. to my vodaphone mobile.
    I would be greatful for undoing this menace.

    Default discontinuation of my cell no. 9820908010 & 9820908011

    I had mailed a application of discontinuation of my cell numbers 9820908010 & 9820908011 for which i received a mail from vodafone customer care that it will be discontinued within 3 working days.
    But i am stonished to see still from 22nd April ( email date ) still it is working after all payments were made by cash.

    Thumbs down Bullshit Vodafone network

    I am facing a severe network problem.
    My calls get disconnected
    when other people call me they get engage tone
    every time i try to call some one it says network busy.

    When I raised an complaint in customer care it was told to me that it would take 15 days.
    Will I be waived with the 15 days amount which is a part of my rental.

    Default charged for GPRS in 399 blackberry plan

    hello sir

    i sanket jain have ported my number to vodafone which got started on 13th of may 2011.

    after that i have done the recharge of rs 1150 in which i got rs1300 talk time, and than i have started my black berry 399 pln by sending sms (ACT BIS399) to 111

    so after that whenever i am using ma browser i m being charged at 10 paise per 10 kb.which i think should not be charged because browing is free in 399 blackberry plan.

    after several calls to vodafone care(111) and also to 9820098200 my complaint was not talken care off n instend my call where being cut down without even giving me proper answers.

    now i am writting you this mail because now i am not even able to speak to your customer excicutive i think they have blocked me from speaking to any of the customer excicutive.

    with lots of hope i am writting you this mail hope some action will be taken as early as possible as i have lost rs200 from yesterday

    Unhappy Vodafone deduct charge without inform

    Hello sir

    i am 5years old vodafone customer
    my vodafone number is 9978182944 of gujarat.
    I have recharge of rs. 325 on date 28-05-2011.
    Company has deducted rs. 26 and rs. 81
    on date 29-050-2011 without inform me before deduction
    not after deduction.

    Please credit my balance

    i am not satisfied with vodafone, if company
    will not credit my balance , i will cancel my
    vodafone number permantely

    i dont know why in the world u people have to deduct balance from my phone i dont have enough time to call u again and again to credit the balance in my phone.. your services really sucks!!!! there is no number to contact customer care u dont inform ur customer about the new updated customer care.. its been 2 days i am not able to contact customer care because everytime when i call there is some f%$^^ IVR services which never let me talk to ur customer care.. if u cant provide the services then why u r in the market.. i seriously want to discontinue the services and will not recommend anyone to go for vadafone... i will seriously put all this in every site so that who ever sees it will think to go for vodafone.. my no is 7409119001 and i want the credit on my phone if not then just wait and watch wht i can do..

    Hi!

    I am highly highly higly frustrated with vodafone services. I have a prepaid number and using BlackBerry services on it. Vodafone has a rule that if the balance gets below Rs.5 then the BB services get deactivated. But the problem is after deactivation you guys forget to reactivate the services. Even if by chance I forget to recharge my fone within 2 mins after your reminder msg the services get deactivated. After several calls I am told that the services will be reactivated within 4 hrs, but EVERYTIME it takes minimun 2 days for the services to resume.

    Why the hell does it take soooooooo long to resume services and soooooo quick in deactivating?????

    There is some major problem with Vodafone and BB. I think they dont gel up well.

    Everymonth I spend hours talking with the customer care but all in vain. NO ACTION taken. NO FAST RESULTS. And still NO HOPE OF IMPROVEMENT.

    Vodafone!! Are you listening??????

    Please help or else customers anytime have options of choosing connections offering better services.
